Laine got home without incident, only to realize she had left her parasol in Tybalt's truck. Not for the first time today she cursed her luck. She was not about to go back to the auto shop to get it. Luckily, she had more, but that one had been her favorite. She slipped out of her clothes and into a clean pair of jeans and a men's button down before heading to the kitchen. She made a pot of tea and curled up on the couch with a cup, flicking on the tv and looking for something to watch. She settled for The Big Bang Theory and waited for night to fall.

Tybalt went through the motions of the week without problem. Soon friday rolled around and he rinsed his hands in the auto shop bathroom, took a quick shower in the crappy trailer he owned before packing up Hailie's things reluctantly. "No daddy.." She kept saying the words. "Stay wit'chu..." "Sorry baby girl..mommy wants you." He frowned some. "One day Hai's, alright? One day you won't have to go back. Promise."
He loaded her up, dropping her off at home without a word to the nineteen year old mom before he headed back. Sitting on the hood of a car he ran a hand through his hair, thinking about the dinner date offer.

Laine's week went by like any other week. Open the shop, deal with Dyl and Britt, close the shop, go home and curl up with tea and a book or tv. She was starting to feel sick though. Friday was taking too long to get here. She was getting paler, weaker. Dyl had been commenting on it even, picking at her like he so often did. Maybe after Tybalt she would go after him. Surely there was another tattoo artist that could fill his spot.
When Friday rolled around she went about her daily routine, waiting to get home and sit by the phone. He had to call tonight. If he didn't, then she would have no choice but to go out and hunt. She had put it off a week longer than she should have for him. Once she got home she climbed in the shower and then threw on a nice skirt and top, along with a pair of boots. Either way it went, she had to dress to impress.

Tybalt collapsed back onto the car, staring up at the sky in thought. He figured he should just blow it off like everything else. But he wasn't ready for the loneliness to settle over him quite yet, wasn't ready to be surrounded by it again.
He may as well mikk it out the rest of the night. Sliding off the car as he stood, he headed into the shop office and grabbed her number, leaning up against the wall as he dialed.

Steel blue eyes stared through the tv screen as the minutes ticked by. A warm cup of tea steamed in her hands, but she did not drink. It took all of her effort to sit still and all of her concentration to keep the red from her eyes. When the phone finally did ring she almost spilled her tea.
When she answered her voice was soft and hard to hear, as if she was far away. "Hello?"

Tybalt licked at his lips. "Hey ah..it's Tybalt." He shifted his weight self consciously. "Where did you want to meet?" His voice grew muffled as he jammed a cigarette between his lips, knicking papers aside, looking for a lighter.
Finding one he lit up and took a drag.

Laine smirked at his voice, lips drawing away to reveal a fang. She should have known he would call. They always called. Her voice was almost a purr as she responded to him. "I was afraid you wouldn't call." She listened as his voice changed, picking up the little nuances of every movement. Something between those perfect lips of his. A pen, or a cigarette? Did it really matter? He would not live out the night. "How about Olive Garden? My treat for giving me a ride in the rain the other day."
As she talked she stood and stretched, lithe as the black and white cat laying on her window sill. Tonight was the night to let loose, to satisfy herself as she had not in quite some time. "I can meet you there in thirty."

A smirk passed Tybalt's lips as he cleared his throat. "Works for me, see you there." He hung up, chewin on the tip of the cigarette as he locked up shop and headed back to the trailer after washing grease from his hands.
He left his white wife beater tank on, not really bothering dress for the occasion considering the fsct that her currently had nothing nice to his name. Having taken a shower the night before, he ran a hand through his hair, tugged on some shoes and grabbed a leather jacket. He honestly didn't want to deal with the truck right now.
Not bothering with a helmet, he headed for his motorcycle in the garage, a hand running over the sleek beauty before he got on and revved it up.
Soon he arrived at the restaurant, leaning up against the wall outside with a smoke while he waited.

Once she hung up the phone she placed her cup in the sink, said bye to Dante, and locked up her house. The walk there would only take a few moments if she went quick, but from time to time it was nice to walk like the mortals did. She looked up at the stars as she walked, picking out constellations by names young and old. She had always loved the stars, wondered whether there were other beings out there. Her master had told her she was foolish, and had beaten her for all of her daydreaming. Thinking about him made the scar on her wrist hurt, and she adjusted the think bracelet to cover the concave scar on the inside of her left wrist.
It had only been about twenty-five minutes when she finally reached Olive Garden, but Tybalt was already waiting for her. She looked him up and down and a satisfactory purr slipped from between her lips. He looked delicious. She couldn't wait for this to be over, for more than one reason. She approached him without pause and took the cigarette straight from his lips, helping herself to a puff before smiling as if she had done nothing wrong. "Glad you made it."

Half a smirk, half a smile curled his lips as he watched her, taking the cigarette back and taking another drag before snuffing it out in the ash tray and leaving it there. "Glad I could," He grunted, tugging the door open for her, clueless of her plans.
Little did he know both would be in for a surprise. That he wasn't as human as he may seem, that Hades' blood ran through his very veins instead of just his mothers and who he thought to be his father's.
