"You're not happy! You've got a hickey on your neck!" He cried, looking down at the ground. "Why can't you get that I actually wanted something with you? And then you come to my house and won't even kiss- STOP TOUCHING ME!" He screamed, shoving his hand away. Something in Monroe's face changed, his eyes growing far colder than they were before.

"I've killed people like you. People exactly like you. You can't keep your hands off of people, can't be content with one person. People like you are nothing but filth." Monroe spat, glaring over at him. "You're lucky my leg doesn't fucking work." His tears stopped, but his eyes remained cold and heartless, willing to kill if no one was looking. But that one question still lingered. "How could you?"

[zain marshal rhoston]

Zain gritted his teeth. "I was drunk Monroe!" He snarled. "I'm sorry I'm so fucked up okay?! Shit." He glared at him, staring right back without a budge. "You wouldn't kill me." He couldn't hide his sneer, getting nasty just to hide how hurt he was. "I didn't mean to," He spat. "I told you I got fucking scared! So I went and had a few drinks and I guess I drank enough. Or maybe I didn't, huh? So what the hell do you want from me? I'm /trying/ Monroe! This isn't something I fucking know how to do."

Monroe smirked. "I wouldn't kill you? You'd better not bet on it. You'd be a losing man. A dead losing man." He retorted. He gritted his teeth as Zain raised his voice, growing more angry. He was starting to care less and less what came out of his mouth.

"You're obviously not trying hard enough! Or I don't mean enough! Why do you even care?! You were never mine! You're having a stupid argument on a fucking bench with someone you fucked once. Who's to say you ever cared? You can sit here and argue with yourself. You didn't lose anything because you never fucking had it. If you wanted me, you should have fucking said something. Instead of driving me into a FUCKING TREE!" He pulled himself up, starting to walk away.

"Because I wanted to die Monroe, okay? I wanted to fucking die and if you wouldn't have stepped on the gas you wouldn't have been fucking hurt." He stood as Monroe got up, hauled him back by the shirt and shoved him onto the bench. "You don't fucking just walk away from me!" He snarled, eyes blazing. "You know, relationships don't have to fucking be about sex. Did you even pause for a god damn minute to think I might be fucking falling for you Monroe?!" He laughed then, angry tears falling down his cheeks. "But no I'm just a fucking one night stand huh? A fucking whore."

Monroe cried out when he was shoved down onto the bench, causing a pain to shoot up his leg and back. Frustrated tears fell down his cheeks as he looked up at him. He couldn't get up and defend himself. All he could do was sit there looking up at the guy who had just pushed him onto a bench.

"I don't want you to be! I want you to be more than that! I want you to be mine! But I can't have you! I've got to share you with every other fucking person you decide you want for the time being! I see the way you look at everyone else! And for the record, if you shove me down against anything again with a broken leg, I'm going to beat the fuck out of you with my damn crutch. I'm not here for you when it's convenient. I'm here because I'm falling for you too, dickhead." He scowled, glaring up at him.

"I look at people because I look at people, dumbass," He spat. "I don't look at anyone like I do you." He shoved at his shoulders. "What's wrong? Can't kill me?" He scoffed. "You want so much from me that I'm already doing my damned best to give you okay?! I just need you to have a fucking little patience while I try! You really don't think I want to? That I can't be loyal? Then I dare you, huh? I have no other fucking reason to be here anymore. So do it, dumbfuck. Kill me."

"STOP SHOVING ME!" He screamed, shoving him backwards. He glared at him, obviously hurt that Zain would stand there and willingly hurt him. "I'm not your fucking rag doll! Maybe I'd give you patience if you'd stop being so damn cold to me! The last time you actually kissed me was when we came back from the hospital! I'm not going to wait on someone who doesn't care that they're tearing my heart apart!" He started crying again, wrapping his arms around himself as he looked down into his lap.

"I don't want you if all you're gonna do is hurt me and cheat on me and keep being so damn cold.. I'm a person too, Zain. It's not always about you. I wish I never would have gone to the mall. Then neither of us would be hurt.." He mumbled, then bit his lip to choke back tears.

Zain growled, stumbling back, eyes flashing. His hand struck Monroe's cheek harshly and then he swallowed, let out a shaky breath. "Monroe, I-...." He worked his jaw, sat down and dropped his head into his hands. "I'm sorry...so sorry.. Fuck...." He gritted his teeth. He had literally just hit him....

"Damnit, I told you to stop hitting me!" Monroe cried, tears falling down his cheeks. "What part of stop hurting me don't you understand?! Do you think I like you hurting me?! If I wanted you to fucking hurt me, I would have said something, you ass!" He didn't know what hurt worse- knowing what little relationship they had was going down the drain, or that Zain would honestly keep hitting him after he had told him to stop.

"That sure is some way to show someone you like them.. It's no wonder no one is around you for more than a night.. I honestly hope whoever you were with last night was worth losing me over.." He reached for his crutch, finally grabbing it. He pulled himself up, leaning down to grab his other crutch.

"Monroe.." Zain choked. He got up, pulling him back. But this time he wrapped his arms around him, not caring if Monroe hurt him for it or not. He slid a hand to his shoulder, kissed him tenderly passed his tears. "I'm sorry..so sorry... Please, Monroe..." He knew he was abusive..it wouldn't be a first he had hit somebody.
