"But if I do anything to shame them, I'll be shunned. Or killed. Or something equally as horrible. A shame against one's name is the worst shame of all." She ran her hands over her dress -her favorite dress- and couldn't help but remember that fear she felt when he tried to get her dress off. She took out the one earring she had in, looking down at it. She took Oliver's hand, putting it in his palm before closing his fingers around it.
"The way you kissed me.. earlier.." She looked up at him, her blue eyes finding his. "You.. really like me, don't you?" She reached up, touching his cheek gently. "Promise me you won't let anything keep you away, Oliver.. They won't hurt you.. They'd sooner hurt me. Please don't let anything take you away.. You have so many stories to tell me." She smiled up at him, resting her hand on his leg.

Oliver wanted to say that it didn't matter, but it did. Obviously, he didn't want her to be killed, and while he wanted to tell her that her family wasn't worth it, he couldn't bring himself to do so. He was taught, in both lives, to believe that family consisted of one's closest allies in the world. The fact that Dusty's family would do this to her...it was easier for him to think that her parents simply didn't know what they were forcing her into rather than the (more likely) idea that they did know, but were still doing it anyway simply because of what John was, and what Oliver wasn't.
Oliver's blue eyes looked into her blue eyes, and he nodded. "Of course I do. And you like me too, don't you?" It seemed like a rather obvious statement after saying it. She wouldn't have searched him out if he didn't mean something to her. Oliver chuckled. "I'll tell you the stories as they come, since I'm still learning a few things myself."

"Of course I like you, Oliver." She said with a smile, running her fingers across his jaw. "I can't wait to hear your stories. I'll look forward to hearing them." She searched his face, biting her lip. A light blush crept across her cheeks, and she smiled up at him.
"You really are a handsome boy. Although, I can't help but think Oliver is much more handsome than Orville was." She smiled up at him, resting her hand on the side of his neck. She took a deep breath, moving closer as she heard someone walk closer. But it was just another student, and she let out her breath. She pushed her hair out of her face, looking down into her lap.

Oliver smiled at Dusty's words, though he was worried. What if they got pulled apart again? He looked to Dusty, pulling out his cell phone. "What's your number, so I can contact you?"
The young man blushed at Dusty's words to him. "Yeah, well...Oliver's more in tune with modern fashion." Oliver laughed nervously. Well, it was the truth of the matter, now wasn't it? Noting just how much Dusty tensed up when another student walked by, Oliver frowned in contemplation. "Maybe we should go somewhere where we're less likely to be interrupted..." And the hotel lobby did not sound like such a place.

"I don't have a phone.. My parents would never dream of giving me a phone because I'm never alone." She nodded at his next words, following him outside. She stopped, slowly wrapping her arms around his torso as tears fell down her cheeks. "J-just hug me, Oliver.." She pleaded. She laid her head on his chest, now shorter than him without her heels. She closed her eyes, tailing her fingers across his back.
"You smell really good, Oliver.." She said softly, looking up at him. She hoped she could remember it later, maybe get some sort of comfort from it.

"You don't even have a phone?" Oliver blurted out before he could stop himself. That was a bit ridiculous, though he supposed when one always had a bodyguard with them when they weren't home it helped matters. Speaking of which... "You even gave your bodyguard the slip?"
Oliver hugged Dusty at her request, letting out a sigh. He couldn't help but smile when she told him that he smelled good. He was half tempted to make a quip at that, but thought better of it. Now wasn't the time. He rested his head on hers, rubbing her back a little in a further attempt to offer comfort. "Do you have a computer? If so, we could try to chat on there if worse comes to worse..." He was going to keep thinking of methods.

She shuddered. "I wasn't at my house, Oliver.. I was at his.. He wouldn't have tried to rape me if I were at my house.. We have so much staff.." She hugged him tighter, feeling his fingers where her dress should be.
"No, but I have a tablet. Like the ones on tv? I like to play Angry Birds on it." She kept thinking back to him kissing her, her first real kiss. But how he seemed so scared, like they might kill her. She looked up at him, her hands moving to his chest.
"I don't know how to stop this.. Except to have a baby, and I don't want a baby. I want to finish college. I couldn't take care of a baby anyways." She looked away. That's probably what scared her most about John- she didn't want a baby, and he would make her have one to get her out of school and back to Britian.

"Well no, I figured that much. Couldn't that technically be considered kidnapping?" He felt a new found surge of anger, though he took a deep breath in an attempt to calm himself down.
"Well, if you have a tablet, maybe we could chat on there? There are programs you can add to it so that we could talk." Though Oliver didn't want to leave her, he knew she'd have to go home eventually, and who knew what would happen then? Oliver wanted to make sure that he could still get in touch with her, especially after what happened tonight.
Oliver looked almost disgusted when she mentioned having a baby. He looked torn between uncomfortable and angry. No, forcing her to have a baby was going way too far.

"I don't know.." She shrugged, reaching up to rub her eyes. She yawned, but kept close to Oliver.
"I have a messenger. So I can talk to my teachers if I have questions." She looked up at him, touching his cheek again. She felt around her dress, trying to find her pocket. She slipped her hand into it, and realized her grandmother's necklace was gone. She sighed, crossing her arms. She felt like her entire world was falling apart around her. It didn't seem fair.
"I don't know what to do anymore, Oliver.." She said quietly, looking down.

"Well what is your name on there? We can talk to each other that way." Oliver smiled a warm smile to her, knowing that it wasn't as much as either of them wanted, but that at was at least something. It was a way they could get around.
Oliver reached into his own pocket and pulled out the small earring that she'd placed in his hand earlier. "At least this is safe." He closed his hand around it, holding it tightly. "I don't know either, but I do know you shouldn't have to do what you don't want to do." He let out a sigh, wishing that he could offer more advice, better advice, but it wasn't as if he could do much in this situation either.
