Charlie looked over at whatever it was that Kellin was eating and wrinkled her nose. She wasn't like other angels. She didn't eat. And the thought of eating made her completely and utterly sick to her stomach. Probably because as an orphan, she didn't get much to eat anyways.
"How can you even eat that? It looks like goo." She said, pulling her legs up into her chair. Had she not been so tiny, the chair may have fallen over. But she only stood four-eleven. The wind would take off with her if she were naked.
"It's good." He said, holding out his spoon in an offering. She shook her head, pushing it back at him with her finger.
"No, thanks."

Luck was on Khole's side today. Even though it was warm, clouds were hiding the sun making it dark enough for him to walk through most of the streets. He was careful though, sticking mostly to the alley ways and more darkened sidewalks. "I need to go see how Damian is..." His voice mumbled, recalling the message left on his phone in a fit of furry. He knew his friend was in no real danger, but Damian's fits of rage were the worse if he was home alone.
Stealthily, he made his way into the yogurt shop. He slipped through the door as someone came out. "A strawberry shake will do.." His eyes glimmered as he handed over the money to the girl behind the counter. "Thanks, sweetie." The curl of his lip forming a sweet smirk as Khole watched the pink race to her lips. Grabbing the cup, he turned looking at a table with a fire-y red headed girl and her friend. The smile on his lips never faded as he made his way to a seat where he could watch the floor of the shop. Every once and awhile, he took a peak at the two.

"Eat it."
"No."
"Please?"
"Ew, Kellin. No. It looks like gunk.." She said, recoiling further into her chair. She heard his his phone go off, and looked over curiously. New technology always amazed her. She was probably as old as Deacon, if not older. Not that she really kept track. He answered it, smiling over at her. She listened to him talk about something medical, terms she didn't understand. Then he got up and put his phone into his pocket.
"Where you going?" She asked.
"Car accident. They need to put them to sleep for surgery." He said, messing up her hair before he left. She reached up to fix the tiny ponytail it was in, her eye catching the guy across the way from her. She smiled, waving at him before she looked out the window, messing with a button on her white blouse.

Khole watched as the guy left, a small wave in reply to the girl. Sipping from the shake, he contemplated something in his mind. Shrugging it off, he took his phone from his pocket, taking his sweet time to text Damian to see what he was doing after work. "Lonely?" He asked, his voice being carried across the floor. Of course he could get up and move, not cause a scene. But really, it was only him and her in the shop. The one worker had disappeared to gather some things for the front counter.
Khole's hand moved through his softened hair as he watched the girl for a reply. He'd move if he had too, but it didn't bother him any if they shouted across the room the whole time. "I don't bite." He added sweetly.

Charlie looked up as he spoke, shaking her head. She looked back out the window, worried about Shaun. It's like the entire Gryffon family and their spouses were on edge right now. But Charlie felt the most out of place. Sure, Tyler had asked her out, and yeah, they were dating, but she still didn't feel like she belonged there. For some reason, Tyler just seemed a little too.. well, Tyler. She didn't think he stayed with one person long.
She looked up as he spoke again, chewing on her thumbnail though she didn't notice it. "I wouldn't know. A lot of people bite around here recently.." She said. 'Especially the vampires..' She thought, reaching up to brush a strand of hair from her forehead.

Khole chuckled at her response, shaking his head just a bit. "Well, you can stay there and I'll stay here, but you gotta talk to me," He leaned back in his chair some, relaxing as he watched she brushed her hair back. His natural attitude showing as he talked to her. But there wasn't a deeper meaning to it.. at least not yet. She was cute, there was no denying that. He wasn't really sure of her age though. "My name's Khole, what's yours?" His voice was light, as if he naturally did this.
His phone began to vibrate on the table, the screen showing a message from Damian. Picking up his phone, Khole replied, 'Okay, I'll call you when I get home.' His head tilting to look back up the girl as he chewed his lip.

"I'm Charlie." She said with a smile. She really didn't know who she was, or if she even had a name. But the rumor was that she was more than likely the missing duchess Anastasia. But she denied it, no matter who said it. "I don't like talking across a room, though." She said, carefully standing up. She fixed her small black skirt and walked over, sitting down in the chair across from him. She crossed her legs under the table, looking over curiously at his phone.
"You got one of those thingies like Kellin. Only he uses his because he's an anna.. an.. The people who put you to sleep for surgeries." She said. folding her hands in her lap.

Moving back in his seat, his back pressed against the white bars as his eyes watched her move across the room. "Nice to meet you, Charlie." That sweet smile ever lasting on his face. His hands cupped around the shake, pulling it close as he leaned slowly forward. He sipped carefully, looking out the window til he was questioned. "What would I have that an anesthesiologist would have? I think we would be worlds apart in having anything in common."
Khole's voice was smooth, not carrying far across the room since she was closer now. His eyes beginning to become lighter in tint as he looked her over carefully. Once more his phone buzzed, but he ignored it. More than likely, it said okay. Damian was known for giving responses even if they were automatically inferred.

"That." She said, pointing to his phone. "I don't know what it is. They didn't have those things when I was alive." She said, folding her hands again in her lap. Something about him was alluring, and it scared her. Because she knew whether she or Tyler liked it or not, there was a tie there between them. She looked down, picking at one of her nails. Her orange bangs fell into her eyes, but she didn't bother to push them away.
"Kellin's just like everybody else. He's just a little shy. I mean, people don't like him much because he has weird eyes." She said, looking up at him again. That pull was still there, and for someone as innocent as Charlie, it was very unsettling. 'The last time you were around someone like this, you got stabbed and ended up face down in a swamp..' She thought.

"Oh, my phone?" But he was quickly distracted by her next words. He knew of the other creatures, hell, Damian was the son of Ares. And Gryphon was a fallen angel. No wonder she seemed to glow when he had first laid eyes on her. More chuckles of laughter escaped his lips as she explained her friend. "People aren't a big fan of anyone. unless they run in the same crowd."
His finger tips brushed the fallen brown locks of hair back, enough gel to keep them upright for a bit longer. "Strange he'd leave such a pretty girl like you alone, though." Those crisp white teeth showing as he talked. Khole was dressed neatly. He always looked his best when he left the comforts of the lake, he never knew when he would be bringing company home.
