"Get the fuck out!" Trip, stumble, fall. A laugh echoed through the quiet streets, "Jackass." Boots clicked, and the laughter from inside the bar rang. Koty pushed her bangs from her face, looking over to the bar. Her mind still bubbled with anger from the man who smacked her ass. It wasn't something she got mad at often, but today it had really pissed her off. It wasn't long before she was back behind the bar, a smile on her face, and shaking up a drink for a new customer.
"Damn, Kota! What's gotten into you today?" She gave a sly smile, handing the drink over and tossing a rag over her shoulder.
"What can I say? I'm like a ticking time bomb," Her laugh was like a song, caring out across the room even without a microphone. Pulling her phone from her jean pocket, she checked the time. 9:09. Only two hours and fifty-one minutes til' she could curl up in her bed. Her eyes searched the crowd, looking for others who were ready to order their drink.

Brandon smirked down at the NotePad Zayne had written on, happy to be in touch. There was a festival coming up and the four of them had been practicing again, planned to perform as entertainment. He raised a hand faintly to gesture the waitress over, then leaned back. "The kid threw it at you?" He scoffed, a grin on his face. Zayne only smirked at him, lips parting in a soundless laugh of amusement.

Fingers trailing across the bar, Dakota walked over to the two boys, laughing faintly at the joke. "Hm, want anything or you just here to make jokes?" Her teeth flashed a grin. Her eyes scanned across the lower part of the bar, looking at the cups. She picked one up, the rag falling to her free hand with ease as she started to rub at one of the spots. It was like OCD. When she was little, she absolutely hated cleaning dishes and her parents made fun of her working at the bar. 'I can't believe you work there,' 'Well, hun, I'm glad you got over your fear of dirty dishes.'
Koty placed the cup back down, tucking the rag in her back pocket. A beer slid across the bar, getting caught by an open hand. She didn't see it, but she had grown use to all the sounds even if she had only been working here for a few months. "Come on boys, It's a busy night." Her gaze was fixed back on the two.

Brandon huffed. "I wasn't talking to you," He groaned, pointing a finger at the notebook where Zayne had written that a kid had thrown a stapler at him when he was teaching glass today. Zayne smiled, lifting his shirt to reveal the bruise. "Hm," Brandon huffed, stretching to his full short height from where he was sitting on the stool. "how about whatever comes to mind first? I'm not picky. That work Zayne?" Zayne nodded, never uttering a word. He wasn't able to.

Dakota shrugged, not really caring. Her mistake, oh well. She took a quick glance at his bruise, before looking out over the floor. It was like every normal Friday night. No special bands were playing, no teenagers trying to sneak a beer. "Two beers it is then." Her voice cheerful as she walked away, grabbing two ears from the ice bath on the other counter. One by one, she popped the tops off and sat them down on the bar. "Need anything else?" She looked quizzically at the two, glancing away shortly as she heard the door open and close.
"Koty! Someone's here to see you," The harsh voice traveled over the music. Her fingers tapped on the counter, looking at the two boys and then over to the end of the bar, her face lightening a bit. "I'll be right back," Dakota looked back shortly, before walking over to another girl.
Minutes passed, hushed words passed back and forth. A grin formed across Koty's face before she walked back to the two boys. The girl following on the other side of the bar. She sat a couple seats down from the boys. "Oh, hey!" Kylie smiled faintly at the shorter man. Dakota glanced back and forth, before mixing a drink for Kylie.

"Nope, thanks," Brandon huffed with a smile. He glanced up as Trez ducked behind the counter and clocked in. "Hey guys!" He called, ruffling Zayne's hair as he passed.
Brandon glanced over at the familiar voice and smiled. "Oh hey," He drawled with a smile.

Drawing in, Kylie turned slightly away from the group as soon as another joined the group. She gave a small smile before taking the drink from Kota's hands. She placed it carefully on the bar. It was in a tall glass, a red tinted slush. Kylie twirled the straw around the cup, glancing up to see Dakota leaning on the bar across from her. "Quiet tonight?" Koty asked, her arms crossed over her chest.
"Guess so, wasn't a fun day at school.." Kylie drawled, taking a sip from her drink.
Dakota watched as Kylie glanced over at the boys a few times. In her head, she was shaking her head. A small smile forming over her lips. "High school was hell the first time, I don't see why you went back." She replied, glancing at the time on her phone.

Trez hopped over the counter, moving to take the orders of a few people so Dakota could chat with her friend. Brandon returned to his seemingly one sided conversation, reading the things Zayne write in response, laughed softly.

Dakota watched as a few others walked up to the bar, she hesitated a moment, but saw Trez was busy. "Have a few sips of the drink, and talk to someone," She gave a faint smiled to Kylie, "Someone other than just me." A playful wink before she went over to get a few beers.
Kylie laughed, lightly. Her hand pulling the drink closer so she could take another sip. "Sorry to take her magnificent company away," She glanced over at Brandon, the only thing she could think of. Her eyes traveled around the bar, her fingers twirling the slush around the glass. Not much of it was gone.

Brandon smiled at her, laughed some. He took a swallow of beer, setting his bottle back on the bar counter. "Oh," He huffed. "Kylie, this is Zayne. Zayne, Kylie." Zayne's lips pursed before he smiled, waving and blowing blonde hair from his face.
