"I hear it.." She said quietly, but didn't bother getting up to answer it. She blushed, feeling her chest against his. She ran her hand down his side, kissing him softly as the phone stopped ringing. She slowly wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling herself closer.

Rex smiled, felt her pull in closer and managed to land a kiss on her cheek without making too much of a fool of himself. He sighed, a breathy laugh escaping his lips. "I could honestly just lie her all day, you know?"

His own phone went off and he groaned. "It died, it's dead and I didn't charge it, oops," He huffed with a smirk.

"No one said you had to get up." She said with a smile, trailing a finger up and down his chest slowly. "As long as I'm with you, I could lay here all day, too." She heard something hit the window and jumped. She looked up, realizing it was just a branch. She relaxed again, kissing his neck softly.

"Maybe you should go charge it, hm?" She teased, resting her hand on his stomach.

"Mm..maybe. But it's charging now, I just haven't turned it on." When she jumped he held her close, arms wrapping tightly around her body.

"You feel all tense.." He murmured, voice laced with worry. "You okay Blake?" He kissed her on the forehead, cradling her even closer.

"I'm fine.. Just a little jumpy." She leaned up, pressing her lips to his in hope of distracting him. Then it hit her. 'Im going to be here alone when he leaves..' So she decided she would just go back to work, keep in her bunk all day.

"Ew, I got another physical in like, five weeks.." She hated them, the idea of being swabbed and tested made her skin crawl. She kissed his chest gently, guessing if she was pregnant, they would figure out then.

Rex laughed softly, tilting his head. "Abd I got one like, in the next few days," He complained, stretching. Soft music filled his head, a guitar, the smell of coffee.

He cleared his throat, cradling Blake close.

She laughed, moving as close to him as she could. By now it was probably obvious to him that she had nothing on. So she figured she would just snuggle up.

"What's wrong? You never get a nice nurse with a pretty voice?" She teased, running her hand across his stomach.

Rex smirked faintly, feeling her move closer, and he rolled on to his side a little bit more, blankets draped over his hips.
"Mm, not as pretty as yours," He insisted, gently planting a kiss on her forehead.

"Besides, it's a lot more dreadful of a process when you're being felt up by a doctor and you can't see." His words were teasing. "When I lost my sight my world really became a game of trust, you know? Gotta see the best in people and hope they aren't the ones to rix you of money, poke fun or beat you up."

He took her hand, gently trailing it down his side to his ribcage. "Sure, being an officer helps. But how often is it youcatch a guy trying to hit and run, when you can't see where he went? Dakota's my best bet, you know. But even he isn't my own sight." The soft smile remained.

She blushed, glad Rex had on his briefs because she was a bit sore, and not sure she wanted to go for round two just yet.

"Being felt up by a doctor who keeps glaring at you isn't the best either." She mumbled, placing a kiss on his neck. She ran her fingers along the place where he had put her hand, listening to him talk. "I'll be your eyes too.." She moved a little closer, and now they were chest to chest and hip to hip. "If you want me to.."

Rex winced as they brushed the bruise he had been trying to show her, moved her hand a little lower. Right across the ribs and it still hurt, had been just yesterday before work. Dakota had scared him off before Rex had too much money stolen.

"Mm, I'd like that." He smiled, fogged blue eyes happy as he kept her close, aware of every connection of their bodies.
