Zacharias shrugged. "We got here 'few Weeks ago. Town to town, never stay long, don't bother with many people." He shifted his weight, pressed a hand to his growling stomach tenderly. Eyes glanced back her way, then briefly up at the sky. He played with the sleeve of his dirty hoodie absently.

"Seems like a smart idea.. But uh, what happens when one of them mingles with the right person and doesn't wanna leave? Where's that leave the other two?" She questioned, her hand moved from the ground, playing with her long strands of hair. "Just keep moving or decide to stay?" Gryphon glanced to his stomach as it growled. "You always stay hungry?" Her fingers twirled the hair around as she waited for an answer. Her eyes moving from thing to thing before resting back on him.

"I...dunno." He bit his lip, had never really thought about it. They had been together since they were nine. And he had been with them the past four years. He didn't like change. The thought was disturbing. When she questioned being hungry, he nodded. "Us'ly.. Hard to get food for all three of us.. And Colton is sick." He shifted his weight, hadn't had a decent meal in awhile at all.

Gryphon hummed softly to herself as he finished speaking. She inched her way forward to the water, slipping her shoes off and dipping her toes in. A cold chill ran up her spine, her teeth chattered for a moment and a smile rolled across her face. "That's no good. And he wont get better any quicker since you live on the streets," She yawned, stretching the word street out. "You know, if you stick to one town and makes friend. They'd probably help you out.. But then you gotta talk more." Her head tilted, looking at his face, "Which doesn't seem like something you wanna do."

Zach bit his lip, lowering his gaze in response as she turned to look at him. He sat up, dusting off his back, and shrugged. "Maybe.." He murmured softly, picking briefly at a fingernail. He didn't want to talk to anybody, though, no matter what she saidd. He touched his oddly spaced ribs again, yawned and stretched.

"You should at least try and make friends with someone who can help the kid.. I mean you live on the streets, how do you expect him to get much better?" Gryphon was back to starring at the water. Her toes touched the edge of the water as she pulled her legs close, resting her head on her arms as the wrapped around her knees. "You wouldn't want him to get worse, would you?" Her voice trailed, the wind whipping it away.

"They met some people.." He bit his lip, shrugging a bit. People he had stayed hidden from, nobody tended to stick around long when they met him.. "No..I don't.. And he's not a kid..." He wouldn't be able to handle it if Colton got to sick. But it was just a cold, right..? He rubbed at the back of his neck, eyes troubled.

"Well it's not like I'm gonna call him a grown-up. The three of you could find a way to get off the streets, but instead you chose not to. To me, that's childish." Gryphon stated bluntly, backing away from the water. "Look, it's your choice to be on the streets, but it's stupid." Her hands wiped the loose grass from her feet as she slipped her shoes back on. Her eyes switched over to him, looking him up and down. A sigh rolled from her tongue and she stood, walking closer. "Come walk with me for a bit...?" Her voice trailed. It was up to him if he actually chose to come or not.

Zach glared at her warily. "It's not a choice," He muttered, but got up, hugging his notebook close and stepping after her quietly. He coughed, sniffling faintly, and rubbed at his growling stomach.

"No, it is a choice. There is always a choice." She slowed down, walking beside him. Yawning, she watched him quietly as they walked. Her mind tossed from thought to thought as they walked through the park. "The only thing you really don't have a choice in is being born or dying. But sometimes, there's a choice in dying." Her hands went to her pockets, fumbling around with a few crumpled bucks. Gryphon looked around at the closed stores, a soft sigh escaping from her lips.
"Not a good choice.. but it does become a choice..." Her voice trailed as she found what she was looking for. Watching him walk a bit further than her, she slipped into the store quickly. She worked quickly, pushing her way to the front of the line. "It's an emergency.." She claimed as protests were outspoken.
"Here," Gryphon appeared by Zach's side. He had gotten pretty far, a small jog for her to catch up. She handed over a sub, a few more food items were hidden in a bag. "These should be good for a couple of days.. I didn't get anything that would rot quickly.."
