Zach nodded at her mention about food, his stomach growling faintly at the thought. "Tough," He scoffed softly, sitting down. The faintest smile passed his lips and he stared down into the ripples at his broken reflection. He knew what he was, even thought she didn't. "Don't have to be tough on the outside," He whispered quietly, glancing her way with curious eyes for a moment. He tapped his head, then his heart. and opened his notebook, starting to scribble things out in his odd writing again, occasionally pausing to gaze at the reflections in the water.

"Ah, the silent, but deadly type." Gryphon sat away from him, sprawling her legs out and leaning back on her heads to look toward the heavens. "Intriguing, like the spies off a movie." She watched the clouds as they crept across the blue sky. "Buttt, just a little cliche'." Gryphon tilted her head down to look over at Zach, eyes tracing over his face before to the weird writing on the paper. "What's that?" Her voice chirped, her muscles moving under her skin as her expression changed.

Zach rose an eyebrow. "Not cliche', unique," He offered, tapping the pencil the guy at the cemetery had given him. He bit his lip at her question, lowering his gaze warily. "Stuff... backwards." He held it at an angle to the water, the reflection reversing it so it could be read the proper way. But he didn't hold it long enough for her to read only a few words about reflection and reality and insanity, refused to let people understand it. He took it back, closed it slowly.

"If it floats your boat," Her head leaned back to look at the sky once again after he turned the note book away. "Pretty cool.. Why not take that and make something out of it. I'm sure it could be called art, a lot of things are 'art' now-a-days." She chewed on her lip, before moving to chew on her tongue. "I mean, if you write something.. You could make enough money for a house and still be able to avoid people."A yawn leaped from her mouth as she laid on her back, hands tucked under her hand.

Zach chewed on a snakebite, reaching up to fix his septum ring and gauge. "Guess so.." He mumbled, leaning back on his hands. He glanced over at her, whispered something under his breath before looking out across the water and night sky again.

Her feet wiggled back and forth in a tick-tock motion as she laid down. Her eyes fixating on a dim light in the sky. "You just shy or hate talking?" Her voice carried over the silence, but she never looked to see if he had moved. Gryphon figured she would at least hear him stand if he chose to walk away. "I figure that you hate talking, since you don't like people. But then there's gotta be a reason behind it." She blabbed on and on, her feet still twitching as her words seemed to match the beat. "The two guys in the alley, good buddies of yours or just someone you stick with so you aren't completely alone?"

"Just don't like talking.." He murmured. He listened to her quietly, bit his lip. His eyebrows furrowed some, and he rolled over on his side. "I...don't know.." He admitted softly. "They watch out for me, 'guess...so I'm not alone..." He knew they had all been together for about four years, but those two had known each other most their lives. Not to mention Zach only usually stuck around for food or to help them, or when he really was feeling lonely, despite insisting he hated people so much.

Turning her head slightly, she glanced at him for a second. "That's nice." A puff of air blew from her lips, cause a stray hair to flip backwards. Her eyes closed softly as her mind flipped from thought to thought. She lost the words she was going to say as the lyrics to a song popped into her head. "I still think it's dumb that the three of you live on the streets. If kids can be singers," Her eyes rolled at the thought. Star babies having something like a record deal. What was wrong with people? "Then three uneducated guys should be able to get three jobs. And your not necessarily uneducated."

"Never went to school." He shrugged. There were reasons he was how he was. Reasons that not even Trayce and Colton knew after four years. He had never really talked to them much, either, had never let them touch him just like everybody else. But they could relate, and perhaps that was the only reason he stayed. They wouldn't hurt him...

"Kids have grade school.. You can multiply, divide, add, and subtract, right?" She sat up, pulling her knees close and wrapping her arms around them. "You can obviously speak and write. What more do you need?" Her eyes watched his chest rise and fall as she waited for an answer. Her mind coming up with many different answers, but it wasn't her problem. He had to find away around it, unless he really felt like living on the streets his whole life. "Unless you like the streets. Then, I guess, just keep doing what your doing." Grphon shrugged, her eyes tracing upwards to his face.
