[FEST] The Great Escape

Trez smiled. "You think I'd let them help me?" He teased. He took the water with a thanks, twisting off the cap, and took a swallow before leaning back on the palms of his hands. "Yeah...we would have been big... But I called it quits when Xander got sick." He followed her gaze to the girl, then Zayne. "Yeah, definitely seems like it.. As for being fixed...it's just epilepsy, right...? They just have to find the right medication.." He hoped.

"Yeah, well Aubri called you hot as fuck earlier so.. I mean, I'm not tattling or anything.." She teased, leaning back to fish in her pocket for the rest of her tickets. She wrinkled her nose, sticking them back in her pocket. "I hope so. I really want you guys to be able to do what it is you love. And that's music. And the whole 'don't let anything hold you back' speech doesn't really apply because like.. you have no control over this." She shrugged, reaching up to fix her ponytail.

"Give me your tickets." Aubri said, holding out her hand. Harper handed her what she had, keeping a few just in case Trez needed anything.

"I thought you had your own." Harper mumbled.

"So? I want a teddy bear for Nash." Aubri said, skipping off.

"Nash. Right. It's gonna be on Alex's bed when you guys get home." She said, rolling her eyes.

"I guess I'll just have to keep going in until they figure it out." He shrugged, smiling up at Aubri as she wandered over. He laughed at Harper's comment. "They should just hook up," He called, hopefully loud enough for Aubri to hear.

He smiled, reaching for his water and drinking from it slowly as they finished another song. Sean said they would be back in a bit and began to move instruments backstage with the help of the other two. Trez smirked. "Brandon is so damn short."

"I think your brother is far too modest to actually be falling for Aubri of all people. Her, on the other hand.." She shifted her weight, looking up as AJ walked over and they began to pack the instruments up for a break.

"Yeah, well, that makes two of us." She said, smiling up at the shy girl.

"Two what?"

"Short people."

"I'm short."

"Yeah, but you're pretty. Brandon isn't." Harper smiled, waving as someone waved at her.

"A lot of people turned out, huh? A lot of people I don't even know." Harper said, looking over at him. She reached over, wiping a bit of water from his chin.

"Then you haven't met my brother," He teased, smiling up at the other girl.

"I am too pretty," Brandon drawled as he waltzed over. "Sean got flocked by girls. Fucking funny." He grinned down at them, Zayne managing to wander over and drop beside the two. Trez scooted closer to Harper, smiled at Zayne.

"It's because he's gay." Harper said with a nod. AJ looked at her, and Harper patted her lap. AJ sat down on Harper's legs as Harper leaned back on her hands. "Girls want what they can't have."

"That's not always the ca- Are you sure you aren't gay, Harp?" Aubri asked, hugging her teddy bear close.

"Oh, shut up. You're always sitting in my lap." Harper retorted, rolling her eyes.

"Which means you're gay." Aubri said, sitting down in Trez's lap. She stuck her tongue out at Harper, leaning against him.

"Guess I'm gay then." Harper said with a shrug, glaring over at her. Aubri smirked, drawing up closer to Trez as she laid her head on his shoulder. "It's too hot out here to be smothering him, Aubri."

"You're only saying it's hot now because you don't want me in his lap, Harper." She smirked. AJ looked over at Zayne, obviously horribly confused by the two.

Trez laughed, draping an arm around Aubri gently. He already had his eyes set on Harper though, felt no shame, and laughed at their bickering.

Zayne smiled faintly at AJ as she looked up at him, watched Sean free himself and wander over, girls wayching jealously as he tried tugging AJ, Harper and Aubri up. "Let's go on ridessss," He groaned.

"I get motion sickness." Harper said, Aubri jumping up at the mention of rides.

"Aw, you just wanna stay here and make out with your boyfriend." Aubri said, wrinkling her nose tauntingly. Harper just rolled her eyes, not bothering to humor her with an answer. Aubri took one of Sean's hands, tugging him towards one of the rides.

"Go ride." Harper told AJ, and the girl got up, following hesitantly after Sean. Harper just hoped Aubri didn't push her off of anything, knew she was probably just jealous. "I get stuck with you three?" Harper groaned playfully, smiling over at Trez.

Trez watched Sean tug them off, Xander getting up and following.

"Guess so," He teased. Zayne looked like he wanted to go, but it was clear he was holding back so AJ could get to know the others. Trez stretched. "Carnival games?" He offered.

Harper watched them go, then looked over at Zayne as if she expected him to go. "I'd go if I were you. Aubri REALLY doesn't like AJ." She said, getting to her feet. She helped Trez up, looking up at him for a second before she looked around.

"I always wanted to go bobbing for apples. But I never got to." She said, looking from Trez to Brandon. She put her hands into her pockets, looking down at her shoe. Aubri came back after a second, shoving the teddy bear at her.

"Hold this." She said, then ran off before Harper could say anything.
