[Closed] Breaking through the shell

"True," He mumbled. "Well...Kinda I guess..." He tugged a hangnail free, unaware of the blood it drew as he looked around quietly.

August seemed restless now, and he chewed on his lip some, daring cast a glance up at him.

"You're bleeding." He said, never opening his eyes. He ran his hand up and down his stomach, the shaking growing far worse at the smell of blood. His molars made an ear-piercing scraping noise as he drew them together tightly, moving his jaw forward. The way he was now, he could probably smell a girl on her period from all the way across the mall.

Cole's eyebrows furrowed in an expression of confusion at the words. "I-.." He gazed down at the faint line of blood along his fingertip, rubbed at it some. "Oh..."
Glancing back at August he hesitated.

Than he crawled over to him, sitting down next to him. He gazed down at the blood smudged on his finger and broght it to the older male's lips almost curiously. "If you're that hungry you should eat..." He mumbled, rubbing at an arm.

August opened his mouth, then quickly shut it, shaking his head. "Maybe I don't want to." He said quietly, looking up at him. He ran his eyes across the boy's face, reaching up to rub his cheek. "You need to quit messing with hang nails. They just get infected." He told him, the lisp growing worse from his fangs. He reached over, draping an arm across the boy, having no intentions to leave, no matter how bad he wanted to feed. It hadn't became a need yet, so he wasn't worried.

Cole shrugged faintly. "A lot of things become infected in different ways," He mumbled innocently. "Hearts for instace. With love and hate, sorrow.."
He picked at his lip wih his teeth again absently, leaning up against August some.
"And we just gotta deal with it..hangnail isn't gonna kill me.." Everything he said was hushed, unsure.

"No, it won't kill you. But it'll hurt like hell." He said, looking over at the boy. He wrapped his arm around his waist instead, rubbing his side slowly. He ran his tongue across his bottom lip, tasting Cole's blood there. "Don't ever tempt a vampire with blood. Even if you're not entirely a werewolf. Your blood is just as tempting as your brothers. It'd be a shame for you to die. You're too adorable." He smiled a bit, then leaned hid head back against the wall, closing his eyes again.

Cole only scowled. "Am not," He mumbled. "Not my fault you haven't eaten." He huffed, yawning a bit, and again began to trace the floor tires boredly, lip still between his teeth. He adjusted his skinny jeans some, picked a small shard of glass up off the floor that the broom must have missed when something had been dropped.

"What does me not eating have anything to do with you being cute?" He asked, drawing his eyebrows together. "I could drain like, four people and you would still be as cute as you are now. Why do you gotta get so defensive about it? It's a compliment. Just say 'thanks' and go on about your way. You ain't gotta argue about it." He ran his fingers up and down Cole's side, not sure if he wanted him to be closer because he was so tempting, because he had tasted his blood, or because he just wanted the boy closer to him.

Cole only sighed. "Not what I meant..." But he preferred falling silent than trying to explain himself instead. Fingers brushed over the piece of glass curiously, careful not to cut himself before tossing it away.

August continued to rub his side, keeping his eyes shut. He smelled the pregnant girl coming, her scent stronger with not one, but two infants. He looked up as she passed into the bathroom, his stomach growling again.

"Maybe I didn't eat because I don't know for sure you'll be here when I come back. So I just stayed." He said with a shrug, pulling the boy close.
