"I probably wouldn't be," He mumbled. "I would hide somewhere else, only Shawn can find me.." He stared at the floor quietly, allowing August to pull him closer without much fight, seeming to be lost in thought a moment as he sighed.

"Okay, so there you go. I won't be able to see you again, your brothers probably ready to literally snap my head off. I'm not leaving, even if I gotta sleep here. I'm gonna make you talk, even if it's just to me.." He said softly, reaching over to stroke his cheek.

Cole chewed on his lip a bit. "Maybe I don't want you to make me talk.." He mumbled. "I could be quieter..."
His voice trailed, something about him growing stubbirn, still trying tk get August to give up as he fell utterly silent.

"Then don't talk. But I have ways of making you talk. Although I'd hate to traumatize you." He tipped his chin back, content to just have the boy look at him.
"What's so interesting about your lap, or the floor? Your eyes are pretty. People would rather see that than the top of your head." He said, running his thumb across his cheek.

Cole's lips parted to retort and he caught himself, scowling defiantly. He closed his mouth again, green, brown flecked eyes sparking in slight challenge as he stared at him quietly.
Arms crossed over his chest, drawing his knees up as well, tapping a foot.

August smirked, remembering his afore mentioned promise. He tipped his chin back again, moving so their lips were nearly touching.
"What did I tell you about looking down?" He asked, his hand dropping to the boy's hip.

"I'm not looking down," Cole snapped softly, clamping his mouth shut with a halfhearted scowl again.
He glanced down at August's hand, looked back up at him again with confused eyes.

"Oh, I'm not gonna kiss you." He said, leaning back against the wall. "You think I'd wanna kiss you? You're fucking nuts." He waited for a reaction, his hand slowly moving up and down the boy's side. Anything to get his mind off his growling stomach, he supposed.

Cole tried to pull off satisfaction, but his eyebrows furrowed, hurt in his eyes at the words, confusion at the way August was acting, the things he said despite his still gentle touch.
Cole pushed his hand away, making a move to get up.

"What's wrong?" He asked, taking the boy's hand and drawing him into his lap. "You didn't want me to. I didn't. Why don't you tell me what you want? And don't say you don't know cause your eyes say different." He rubbed his hips gently. "Or show me if you insist on being a mime."
