"Same," Cole huffed when sexuality was brought up. He shrugged at the question though. "Write instrument parts for music...nothing really though." Too self conscious, no confidence. He had once been rambuncious like Shawn, both. Even moreso than before.
But not anymore. He was too cautious, too careful. Chewing on his straw, he finally shook his head. "I'm not that interesting.." He admitted.

"I dunno. I always thought people who could write music are like, freakin' awesome. I could never sit there and do that. I don't have the patience. Well, I mean, Ember would probably be annoying me the entire time, too." He listened to his comment about not being interesting.
"It's always the quiet ones who are the most fun." He said with a smile, reaching over and pulling his cup away from him playfully. He watched him, waiting for a reaction.

The security of a simple cup pulled away. Cole only withdrew more, not sure how to react and finding humiliation in the way he did. He stared down at his lap. Once he would have found it entertaining. He worked his jaw some, managing to ease back up.
"Comes naturally.." He whispered, continuing with the previous words instead. "Keeps my mind off things."

"I don't want your cup." He said flatly, setting it back in front of him. He felt bad, knowing he had hurt the boy somehow.
"I don't think anything comes naturally to me." He said with a laugh, running his tongue over his teeth subconsciously. He was getting hungry, and he drummed his fingers on the table. "Except mixing drinks, but I mean, a monkey could mix a cocktail." He leaned back ins his chair, watching people pass by. He thought if he kept watching, he would eventually pounce and just drain one of it's life. He looked away, back down at the dress.

Cole shrugged, taking the soda back and taking another sip. "Certain things for certain people.." He mumbled, voice hushed. But you couldn't always have what you wanted either. He wondered where the other two were. Suddenly he felt a little more okay than a few minutes ago, but even so, he seemed more shy than wary.

"Like the 'to each his own' thing? Yeah. I guess. Just some of us never find out. Given we really don't have the desire to, either. I got a little sister to take care of. I don't have time to figure out what I'm good at." He leaned back in his chair, glad the kid wasn't so quiet. Heck, he was offering things that involved four words instead of two.
"So, you have any other siblings besides that twin of yours?" August figured if he was like August, he would ramble on and on about his siblings. He could talk for hours about Ember.

Cole just shrugged quietly at his first words. He looked up some, nodding. "I have two other brothers," He huffed. "Both older." He yawned some, had been rudely awaken by them yelling at each other this morning before Jacob left for counseling.
"Jake's eighteen and Tyler is seventeen.."

"Mm.." He nodded, drumming his fingers on the table top. "My little sister is ten. Her name's Ember. Guess my parents had a thing for fire, huh? August and Ember. She's adorable. I come home from work and she's all like 'TIGGY!' and just jumps up on me. I think I'm gonna be mauled when I get home with this dress she's been dying for. You're the baby, or your brother? Cause one of you had to pop out first." He had a feeling it was this one that was the baby.
"I always wondered what it was like, getting everything you wanted."

"I am," He admitted. "By like, five minutes. It's not everything you could wish for," He shrugged.
"They worry 'bout me too much..I don't talk a lot since the accident."
Even he admitted it, he knew he was.

August nodded slowly. "Yeah, but you said a whole three sentences. I think that's awesome." He said with a smile. "It's better than you not even talking earlier. They have a reason to worry, though. My dad still worries about me and when I was kidnapped and that was like, fourteen years ago." He bit his lip, looking away. 'God, I'm starving..' He thought.
