"Scotty!" She exclaimed as he fell over. She watched him get back up, her heart pounding. "Scotty, don't hurt yourself!" She watched him walk out of the bathroom, then call to her from the room.
"If you wanna!" She called back, then walked back into the girl's room, pulling on a sun dress. She walked back to the bedroom, hugging her arms around herself. "Don't get anything yucky.. I've never eaten before.. And I don't want an upset stomach.." She said quietly, rubbing her elbows.
"Do you want me to come with you, or should I just stay here?" She asked, not sure how things like running errands went.

He shrugged as he pulled on a shirt and some pants. "You can come with me if you want. You can look at the food and see if you can figure out what you want." he smiled at her as he pulled on some pants, admiring her dress. "Oh, and wallmart has clothes. Not the best quality but they have em for not a lot of money. And I don't know about you but i'm short on cash."
He smiled at her and grabbed her hand pulling her down stairs. "You want me to get some junk food or healthy food?" he asked finding his coat and slipping it on, still unsure if they were going together or not. "Oh, and I should get some prenatal vitamins for you to take."

She stumbled after him, her small legs barely able to keep up with his long strides. "I can't walk that fast, Scotty.." She said, watching him pull on a blanket. Because of the baby, she was faintly aware of the temperature, but not enough to do anything about it.
"I don't know what you're talking about.. I told you, I don't eat. And what's a vitamin?" She looked up at him, biting her lip. She watched him put on his shoes, and wondered if she should put on shoes too. She walked back upstairs, grabbing a pair of shoes. She held them out to Scotty. "You can put them on, please?" She asked, not knowing how to tie a knot. The mermaids in the lake tied her corset, so she had never learned.

He rolled his eyes bending down to tie her shoes. "Babe it's cold outside, you need a coat." he said softly brushing his hand against her cheek. He walked over to the closet and pulled out a coat for her, helping her put it on.
"I'm sorry, I should have known." he said softly brushing his lips against hers. "My car is still down at the cabin so I can walk down there and get it picking you back up or we could walk there together." he said biting his lips, his hands stuffed deep in his pockets.

She looked up at him, then pulled one of his hands out of his pocket, lacing her fingers between his. "I'm kinda your girlfriend, so I'll go with you." She said, following him outside. She bit her lip at the blowing wind, wrapping her arm around her stomach.
"The moon looks so pretty." She said, her head tilted back to look at the full moon. "The mermaids in the lake told me I was born on a full moon, but my mom just left me there. So they took care of me. I never learned how to read or write or any of that stuff. But they were good to me." She said quietly.

He wrapped his arm around Ollie and pulled her close. Even if she didn't get cold he was freezing. He smiled and looked up at the moon, he always loved astronomy. Well, in his first life he did at least. He would spend hours looking at the night sky wishing he was somewhere else.
"Well, you don't need to know those things but I could teach you." he said softly as they got to his old car. He opened up the side door for Ollie and shut it again before slipping in behind the wheel. "I don't have a lot of money. So, the car isn't that fancy." he said with a sad smile backing out and onto the street not wanting to look at the cabin and think about what went on there.
"We can spend $50 tonight. That can get us food and some cheap clothes. We need to start saving money for baby things also." he said pulling out of the forest and onto the main road. "I could get a job but it wouldn't be that awesome since I'm not a high school graduate."

"I have some.." She said, and wandered off into the forest. She came back, and held out a wad of bills. "Dont.. ask. Okay? A guy raped me once and he shoved it at me. I only kept it because I didn't know if I would need it one day." She said, lowering her head. She slipped into the car, that feeling of filth and hurt washing over her again. She thought she could never get clean.
She rubbed her arm, looking down into her lap. "I feel bad for anyone else who has ever been hurt like that.. You can't wash away the feeling of disgust they leave with you.." She said quietly.

He took the money and stuffed it in his pocket, when she told him how she got it his heart broke and he actually got upset. He didn't want to think about Ollie getting raped anyone for that matter. He couldn't decide which was worst Ace getting raped or Ollie. You idiot they are both bad.. he ended up thinking as she got back into the car.
He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close, wanting to comfort her. "I know being raped is bad and I am sorry you had to go through that but it wont be happening again okay?" he kissed the top of her head gently, "Anyone who tries and hurt you while I'm here is going to get so beat up they wont even be able to piss."

"I know." She said quietly, wrapping her arms around his neck. She hugged him tightly, her face buried in the crook of his neck. 'I don't know why I didn't find him sooner..' She thought. She pulled back a bit, her lips finding his. She kissed him softly, her hand cupping his cheek. She pulled away, and sat back in her seat. She watched everything go by, everything she had never seen before. She had only been the back way to the mall to lure guys back to the lake.
She opened the door when they stopped at the store, and slowly got out. She slipped her hand into Scotty's and was about to start walking when someone grabbed her arm. She pulled away, clinging to Scotty. She turned around and realized it was the woman who wanted to take pictures of her.
"Hi, do you have a minute?" She asked, and Oleander shrugged. She pointed to the lady and looked up at Scott.
"Shes the lady who asked if I was a model." She said.

He smiled over at her as he parked the car in front of the mall. He wasn't sure if she had ever been here before. Or anywhere with a lot of people. He wasn't sure how he honestly felt about Ollie's lack of normal human interaction and her not knowing about well, anything human related. He had to go with it though, it really made him wonder about what their child will be like. It's gonna be one weird mutt.. he thought to himself as he walked around to the front of the car and Ollie took his hand.
He was about to lead them into the store when he felt her start to cling to his arm, he instantly wrapped his arm around her small waist and looked up to see who was about to harm them. he was surprised when he saw a women standing there and instantly relaxed when he realized that Ollie knew the women.
"Oh, well that is interesting." he said pulling Ollie closer to his body, his arms around her stomach and her back to his stomach, looking at the women.
