Oleander smiled, then blushed at the thought of him working shirtless, his muscles flexing.
"Uhm.. Why don't you go ahead and get you some clothes, and I'm gonna start cleaning the front of the house, and if I have time, I'll start clearing out the closets and moving all this stuff. Isn't it weird how they just left everything here?" She ran her hands down the jeans, looking down at them. They felt so weird. She wanted her dresses back.
"I don't know how much longer I'll be able to stand wearing these things.." She said quietly, putting her hands in her pockets. "They're terrible."

He laughed, liking how uncomfortable he could make her feel just by saying a few things. "You want me to get you anything while I'm out?" he said while he pulled the blankets over his body, still tired. "The mall should be open for a little bit later he said, flipping his phone open.
He started to wonder if their child would be sensitive to light like Ollie was, thankfully he could sleep whenever so it didn't bother him, unless he needed to get something done of course than they would have some issues.
"You can wear whatever you want Ollie, I'm not forcing you to wear jeans. If you want to wear your dress and corset than do." he said looking over at her before closing his eyes. He figured he was tired because it was dark outside and he usually slept when it was dark.

"No.." She said quietly, realizing he was tired. 'Of course he is. Humans sleep at night.' She thought, and wiggled her toes again. She rubbed her stomach, then walked outside. She walked to the shed, and found a bucket. She walked back inside, found a sponge, and began filling up the bucket with water. She walked outside, and began washing off the siding of the porch. She had to stand on a table to be able to reach the top of it, and to clean the roof of the porch.
Her stomach grumbled, and she laughed. "I know, little baby. I don't like working either. But daddy wants a pretty house, so we have to." She said, continuing to clean the roof. 'I sure could go for a shower, though.' She thought.

Scotty had started to fall back asleep just when she was saying 'no'. It wasn't like he should be tired, but than again he hadn't slept all day. He had gone in and out of sleep because he wasn't used to sleeping during the day and it was strange for him.
He climbed out of bed when he looked at his phone and saw it was 2 in the morning. He sighed and got out stretching and wiping sleep away from his eyes. He went downstairs and outside, finding Ollie. "Hello beautiful." he said smiling and walking up to her kissing her gently. "You shouldn't have let me sleep." he said softly while rubbing her cheek.

She kissed him back, hugging him close. "Well, I know you guys have to sleep during the night, so I let you sleep. You can always do what you have to tomorrow, after school." She climbed back onto the table, starting on the roof again. She scrubbed it, her stomach growling again.
"I hear you." She said quietly, still scrubbing. She got off the table, then looked up, thinking she had done a really good job. She stuck the sponge in the bucket, wringing out the dirt.
She got down on her hands and knees, and began scrubbing the floor of the porch, occasionally blowing her hair out of her face.

Scotty groaned at the thought of school. "Do I have to go?" he whined leaning against the house and watching her clean. He could offer to help her but her shirt raised slightly when she stretched, it was a turn on for him and he wasn't going to change.
"Babe, you should eat something." he said walking over to her and helping her clean the last portion of the house. "I'm not sure if your species eats but humans do. And I'm pretty sure that kid is half human." he said with a laugh dumping out the bucket of dirty water and taking her hands. "We..I mean you should shower." he said with a smiling gently touching her nose with his finger.

She sat down, running her hands through her hair. "You're gonna need a shower too, getting down on your knees and cleaning like a woman. Which -by the way- I'm not gonna let you do anymore. That's a woman's work. And unless you want to be treated like one, you're not doing it anymore." She said, matter-of-factly.
She kissed him gently, then pulled herself up. "No, I don't eat." She thought for a minute, then wrapped her arms around her waist. "I don't want it to die, though.." She said, looking down at him. "Should we shower and go get food?"

He raised an eyebrow at her, in both of his lives he had never been around people that had considered cleaning as women's work. But, if she believed it and wanted to follow it than okay, he would be the man of the house and do all those manly things. Which, he had no idea what that was..maybe working?
"That sounds fine, there are a couple of places upon all night. Or we could buy some stuff and I can make you something." he said while standing up and wrapping his arm around her shoulders, "But maybe that falls under women's work." he said with a smile.
"Oh, I was thinking we could shower together..save the world by not using up as much water."

She moved closer, her hand going to his chest. "Well, considering I don't know how to cook.." She said quietly, then led him up the stairs, beginning to run their shower.
- la la la shower time -
She wrapped the towel around her, looking down at her feet again. "My feet are so tiny." She said, hopping up on the counter. Her stomach growled again, and she looked up at him. "I think it's hungry." She said quietly, rubbing her stomach gently. She pulled his hand towards her, pressing it to her stomach. "I can't wait for it to start moving." She said with a smile.

He smiled at her wrapping the towel tightly around his waist. "Of course you have tiny feet. You're a girl." he said lifting up one of his feet and jumping on his leg trying to reach her foot to compare the size, falling over in the process.
He stood back up and placed his hand over her stomach, laughing as it growled. "I think we have some time before that happens." he said walking out of the room and putting on a pair of the boxers in the closet even though he didn't like the idea of it. "Want me to run to Wallmart and get us some food?" he asked towel drying his hair.
