Brandon chuckled, stuffing his hands in his pockets as he walked beside her. He looked up at her for a moment as they reached the diner, then headed inside and grabbed a table, dropping down with a stretch. "I always found it funny that one can meet a stranger in this down and get along so easy, yet at the same time never see a person again." He yawned sleepily.

Kylie sat across from him, opening up at the menu and setting it down on the table. "Guess it's just another secret this town has," She smiled, looking up to see if anyone was coming over. The waitress was still standing behind the counter, handing pancakes to an elderly man. Her eyes began to scan across the menu, looking for the breakfast food. "But at least you had one good day, and never had to battle the up's and down's like you do when you keep in touch with someone."
The waitress was finally out from behind the counter, walking toward their table. "What would you like for drink?" Her voice was high pitched, and very cheery for being so early.
"Coffee," Kylie replied, taking a moment to glance at the menu before continuing her order, "And the breakfast plate." It came with pancakes, toast, eggs, and sausage. A lot of food, but she was a hungry girl. Setting the menu to the side, Kylie watched as the waitress waited for Brandon to order.
