Brandon kicked his fet slowly, the park pretty much empty. Maybe it was childish, but he was honestly enjoying the swinging, lost in thought of far happier and non boring times with the band. It didn't matter though, he supposed. Parting ways, it should have been expected. He yawned softly, holding his coffee cup close as he listened to the morning birds. He'd had fun last night, hung out at the bar after running into Trez and finding out that's where he worked. But he was still nursing off a hangover, loomed around sleepily again. This small town, and the four of them had still barely spoken for months.

The sun was rising up, drying the dew on the grass. A small breeze drifted through the park, blowing the red hair of an earlier riser. She stretched and rubbed her eyes as she walked to town to buy some breakfast. It had been awhile since she had grocery shopping and figured it was about time to do it. Kylie could heard the faint creak of the swing sets, and squinted to look at them. As she got closer, she saw someone sitting on the swings.
"Hello," Kylie smiled, taking an empty swing next to him. Her stomach growled, reminding her of why she had gotten up so early. But it had been awhile since she had talked to someone more her age. Shrugging it off, she pushed her feet away from the dirt, Kylie began to swing slowly back and forth.

Brandon glanced up, smiling faintly at the young woman. "Hey," He breathed, taking a swallow of coffee. He ran his fingers through his hair, not bothering hold the chains of the swing as he moved, brooding thoughtfully again. He glanced over at her in a moment of curiosity. "Just decide to come play on the kiddie toys?" He teased.

Kylie looked off into the grass ahead, watching the calm breeze blow over it. "There a lot better when the kiddies aren't here," she laughed, and pushed her feet again. It was a slow easy push, her head resting against the chain. "I think it's better to play with at least some food in my belly though," Her stomach growled, and she looked down at her feet, following her shoes as they disappeared and then reappeared. "What about you?" She asked, glancing over at the man. Her eyes resting on the coffee wrapped in his hands, before looking up to his face,.

Brandon smiled. "Mm, definitely." He had had oatmeal this morning, but that was about it. He caught her watching him and smiled again. "Just using the fresh air to clear my head and think." Nodding to himself, he shifted his weight in the swing. "Hangover," A scoff.

"Don't you just lovee those?" Kylie fixed her tshirt, tugging at the end that had fallen off her shoulder. Her hands moved to rub her eyes as another yawn leaped from her lips. Her head rested against the chain again, "My names Kylie by the way," Her voice was soft, almost like she was falling asleep in the swing, but her eyes were dancing between the grass and the man. Her feet kicked back and forth, pushing her just a bit higher. The created breeze nipped at her hair softly.

"Totally," He drawled, huffed. "Ah, Brandon." He shifted his weight again, stretched some and finished his coffee. Locating a trash can, he tossed and missed. "Damn." He complained, getting up to throw it away.

A quiet laugh erupted from Kylie as he missed the trash can. She stood from the swing, walking toward the seesaw. Hoping on one end, she began to walk across, balancing herself in the middle. "Hmm, well would you like to go get breakfast?" She asked looking toward Brandon, before finishing off her walk across the seesaw, making her closer to the entrance of the park. Kylie's stomach growled, and she patted it softly. Pulling out her phone, she checked the time and sent a message to someone.

"Sure." Brandon wandered after her, raising his arms in a stretch as he yawned. "What do you have in mind?" He glanced around the quiet park, watching a little kid run towards the swings.

Kylie walked slowly, letting him catch up to her. "Pancakes, sausage, bacon, toast. One of those big breakfasts where you never finish all the food," She smiled, glancing over at him as they exited the park and walked down the sidewalks. "I haven't had one in awhile," A few other people were out now, starting their day. The diner was a couple blocks down the street, but Kylie was already imagining the food being sat in front of her.
"They've got good coffee too." Kylie giggled, running her fingers through her hair. It was nice to have some company. At least now she didn't have to carry a conversation with herself in her head. The thought made her laugh, her eyes looked up from the sidewalk, now seeing the diner.
