Taaron's hands went up as her face was met with splashing water. "Not talking comes off as shy, smartie. But I get it, some people just don't talk about their past." She pulled her hands close to her body, sending water everywhere as she pushed them forward toward Tj to splash him. "Kinda makes it hard for small talk, but I'll think of something," She said quickly, before ducking under the water again. Every now and then she would let a small air bubble surface like a fish.

Unfortunately, she didn't really have gills and had to resurface for air. Tk looked over at him, before acting like something had grabbed her leg and heading under water again. It was hard to see under the water, but she could see the blur of his legs moving back and forth in the water. Keeping close, she swam in circles, holding out resurfacing as long as she could.

Terance scoffed. "I've been called arrogant, shy." He shrugged. "I know I'm not, so it's not my problem." he yelped at the water, sticking his tongue out and watching her feign capture. He dove after her, squinting through the water, and smirked before arms were wrapping playfully around her, holding her against his fit body, bubbles passing his lips as they parted. He was a born vampire though, never drained of blood. He still had to breathe even if he could hold out longer than most.

She squirmed as his arms wrapped around her. Almost starting to laugh, she covered her mouth with her hands, so water wouldn't be sucked it. She was down to her last seconds of air, and the surface of the water wasn't to far away. But being held against him made her not want to swim. Kicking her legs, she figured she need to unwrap his arms from around her. Tk's hands flowed through the water, grabbing on to his hands and using what strength she had, she pulled them apart.

With a quick turn, she waved at him through the water before kicking herself up the few feet to the surface. It was as if she had been suffocated when her mouth opened to take in a deep breath of air. A few moments passed and her breathing was back to normal. Taaron's eyes scanned for Tj, watching him resurface. A smile spread across her lips and she began to laugh, "You almost made me choke again!"

Terance chuckled under water, careful not to suck in, and surfaced soon after she made her escape. He laughed at her, smiling crookedly. "So?" He taunted with a playful smirk, arms moving slowly along the water to keep himself treading in place. "I know CPR." Another playful smile.

"Oh, well since you know CPR that makes it okay."

Looking at her hands, she began to realize how long they had been in the water, but it didn't matter. It was a nice little swim over to Tj, and soon she was floating on her back again. "Do I ever get to figure out why you waited til I was under water to jump in?" Her eyes moved to watch him tread water, and it made her laugh. It was probably the happiest moment she had all week and it was with a guy she barely knew, which seemed to make it even better. "Tired yet?" Her own muscles were growing tired. Every now and then, she would sink just a bit from giving them a rest.

Terance smirked, then shrugged at the question. "Mm..same reason I don't really talk to people.. I dunno." He bit his lip, but realized he had to get out anyway, and if she wanted to know that's all she had to wait for. Hell, having to tell his own brother twice had absolutely sucked. He coughed, clearing his throat, then tried to joke off his nerves as he nodded, slowly starting towards shore. "Why, what do you think I'd have reason to hide?" He smiled, raising his eyebrows in question.

"Hmm.. Extra eyes, retractable limbs, spikes?" Taaron asked, following after him. She tapped him on the head as she caught up with him, pulling her feet underneath her to stand. "I would say weapons, but those aren't as cool." She laughed, and stepped up on the lower bank. Her eyes watched him for a moment, before she realized just how cold it could be. Her clothes were soaked, squeezing tighter than before when they were dry. "Tattoos, but I don't see why you would hide those," Her teeth chattered, and she rubbed her arms looking for a place to sit down or stretch out. Taaron settled for the few rocks that weren't too far away from the water's edge, but at least they had no shade on them.

Terance laughed, shaking his head in amusement. 'Well here we go..' He thought. He didn't look at her as he stood, water rolling from his toned body. But the burns were undeniable. And it was one thing if it had been in an accident. He grabbed his sweat dampened shirt and his jeans, followed her and sat down without a word, stretching his legs out a bit in hopes of his boxers drying as fast as they could so he could get dressed.

Taaron smiled as he came out of the water. His scars were easily seen, but that's not what really made her smile. She waited til he sat down, looking up at his face. "It's no extra eyes or anything," It was the only thing she said about it. It was kinda cute how he hid them though. Looking at her arms, she found the few scars she had purposely put there. One formed the top of a lighter. "I got this," Tk pointed it out, tracing it with her finger. It was an attempt to lighten the mood, a small smile pulled at the corner of the lips.

Terance smirked. "No...but maybe extra eyes are better than memories..." He whispered softly, tilting his head to watch her with quiet interest. He smiled, just the slightest bit, then leaned back and rubbed at the fresh finger clawed marks over his chest, still red welts across his skin. It was self inflicted in his sleep, always was. "My...brother came back," He breathed. "Got in an argument with a friend, killed people.." He bit his lip. "They wiped his memory of the last seven years he was gone. He thought he'd been here the entire time until he realized cancer finally killed mom and dad was a lunatic who used a cigarette and lighter fluid to light his kid on fire." His teeth gritted. Because of how he always kept everything to himself and locked inside, he tended to have a problem with anger.
