[CLOSED] a dinner date of sorts.

"Hurry up!" Gavin complained to his driver, collapsing dramatically in the back of the car.

"I'm hurrying, Gavin." He said, looking back at the tired musician. Tour had been rough, and he still had many dates left to go. But he wanted to come home and see Ace and Clinton. "See, we're here."

"I love you!" He exclaimed, grabbing his bag. He threw it over his shoulder and jumped out of the car, walking into the hospital. He made his way to the cafeteria where he saw what had become his three favorite faces.

"Hey, Gavin." Ace said with a smile, waving over to him.

"Hey, Ace. Scotty. Clintooooon." He threw his arms around Clinton, kissing his neck. "What you guys playing?"

"Old Maid. The person with the Old Maid has to pay for lunch." Ace said with a nod, biting his lip.

Clinton was bouncing his leg up and down waiting for Gavin to come. He hadn't seen him in forever, and missed him more then anything. He smiled looking over at Ace and Scotty. His life had been crazy since he started caring for Ace, but he wouldn't change it for the world.

"Gavin!" Clinton said smiling brightly. He stood up and met his hug, practically melting into his arms.

"Hey Gavin." Scotty said smiling at him before turning his attention back to the game.

"You better be the one that has to buy lunch Ace, I have zero money." Scotty teased as he put down a pair.

Clinton wrapped his arms tighter around Gavin's neck. "I've missed you, Babe." he said softly kissing him.

"I missed you too." He said with a smile, kissing him slowly. He wrapped an arm around his neck, the other on his bag. He looked up at him, gently running his fingers over his jaw. "It's nice to hear you without having to have a phone to my ear."

"I'm telling you I don't have the Old Maid, Scotty. She's in the deck. If you lose, I'll loan you the money. But you'd better pay me back. I just got paid." He reached over, grabbing his bottle of water.

"Fishie fishie." Gavin teased, hugging him tightly. "Oh look, the old maid."

"That's the apple lady!" Ace complained, rolling his eyes. "And I'm not a fish."

"Yeah. You smell better than a fish." He said, propping his head on Ace's shoulder. Ace shifted his weight, looking over at Clinton helplessly.

"Your boyfriend's stuck to me." He said. "And he's telling me I got the old maid and it's clearly the apple lady."

Clinton tried not to blush moving closer to Gavin. "I prefer it this way." he said softly, "I've missed the feeling of your lips..of just your presence."

"I think you're lying." Scotty said playfully as he picked up a card from the deck. He looked up at Ace and laughed. The only person that he let tease Ace was Gavin. "So you were lying to me?" he said smirking raising an eyebrow. "Thank you Gavin for pointing that out." he said with a chuckle.

"He's only clinging to you cause he missed you." he said laughing. "And maybe he is telling the truth like Scotty said. You wouldn't tell us that you had the old maid, that would defeat the purpose of the game." he said smiling placing down some cards.

"But Gavin, get your adorable butt over here and hang all over me and not Ace."

"Are you guys being serious?" Ace asked, pulling out the card and turning it around to show Scotty. "She has apples. She's not an old lady!"

"But it wasn't that card." Gavin smirked, and Ace groaned, throwing his hands up.

"You're killing me! Either way, I'm buying lunch!" Ace whined, and Gavin picked up the deck, shuffling through it. He picked out the Old Maid, putting it in his pocket.

"Now I'm buying lunch. Play something else." He said, walking over to Clinton. He wrapped his arms tightly around his neck, kissing him slowly. "I gotta leave in a couple hours. Do I get to hang on you the entire time?"

Scotty couldn't help but laugh as Ace got more and more frustrated. He hated to admit it but he loved seeming him get frustrated when Gavin or himself teased him. "Ace you know we are just messin with ya." he said chuckling putting down his cards and wrapping his arms around the other boy. "I know you weren't lying." he whispered into his ear before pecking his cheek.

"Hey!" Scotty said frowning at Gavin. "That isn't how you play.." he mumbled before looking back over at Ace. "What you wanna play now?"

"Yea.." he breathed pulling away form the kiss and trying not to frown at the thought of only having a couple of hours with him. "You wanna do something with the boys or just be alone?"

Ace smiled, wrapping his arms around Scotty. "I don't know. But if we're gonna get lunch, we gotta get it soon. I gotta get back to work at one." He said, pulling Scotty's face to his to kiss him. He smiled into the kiss, pulling away to fix his scrubs before he stood up. "You know Deacon quit?"

"Of course I wanna see the boys. I missed all of you. But maybe we can find some time alone." Gavin smiled, kissing the corner of his mouth. He took Clinton's hands, lacing their fingers together. "My bed is really cold without you. The bus is quiet. And I have no one to fix my hair before my shows." He pouted, squeezing his hands gently.

"Then let's go get some lunch." he said after pulling away from the kiss and standing up. He had to look away as Ace fixed his scrubs, finding it way to adorable and sexy. He had to control himself, as much as he hated doing that. He just wanted to make sure that him and Ace weren't caught some place where he worked doing something highly inappropriate.

"No, I didn't know that. Why?" he said as he grabbed his hand and started walking towards the line. "I have my credit card babe so I can buy lunch."

"Ace has to go back to work soon..just a little bit longer and then we can go back.." he said softly. He smiled weakly as he listened to what Gavin had to say. He hated thinking that he was so alone so much. That he could be with Gavin if he didn't decide to adopt Ace. But in the end he knew he wouldn't change the choices he made for the world.

"I'm sorry.." he said leaning against him. "I wish we could be together every night again. I hate going to sleep with out you next to me." he smiled weakly before kissing him again, missing the feel of his lips. "I love you."

"But I'm so tired of cafeteria food.." Ace complained, pulling Scotty back to the table. He walked slow, watching the other two talk. But without Gavin there, it really didn't feel like a family at home. Especially because they were in Gavin's house. "Deacon? Uh.. They hired on some girl he really had a grudge against. He said he wasn't gonna come to work if he had to be miserable." He waved at someone who passed him, then realized it was Deacon when he looked up.

"Aw, hey Deacon. Bandit." He reached out to pat her head. "What are you guys doing here?"

"Connor." Deacon said. "HEY!" Bandit exclaimed, reaching for Ace. He picked her up, kissing the side of her head. "Hi." She said, reaching over to poke Scotty.

"Maybe we should go get lunch. I really want Subway." Gavin said, leaning over to pick up his bag. He put it over his shoulder, looking over at Ace with Bandit and Deacon. "Aw, isn't her hair red? I love babies. Oh, and I got a piercing while you were gone." He teased, walking over to Ace and Scotty.

Scotty nodded, he wasn't that excited for more cafeteria food himself. It was their normal routine and he needed something different. Some more excitement in his simple life.

"Hi Bandit." Scotty said happily leaning over to kiss the top of her head. "Hey Deacon." he gave him a small wave before turning to look back at Clinton and Gavin, wondering if they would be joining them for lunch or not.

"That's fine with me." he said simply picking their belongings up from the table. He shook his head laughing to himself, although Ace was a teenager he sometimes just simply left things places like a kid. "Babies are cute.." he said looking over at Bandit and smiling. He had recently started wanting to see what it would be like to have a little kid to care for, but he knew that it wouldn't be wise to have another kid with Gavin away. If he even would want another one.

"What do you mean you got another piercing!" he exclaimed jogging after him.
