"Oh my goodness." She chuckled. She'd always found those hairless cats creepy. What kind of cat didn't have hair? That would be like having a cow that didn't moo. She slowly ran her fingers over the palm of Khole's hand, looking over at him. She'd been attracted to him the moment she saw him, drawn to him the second he'd kissed her. But as far as falling for him went, she was almost afraid. What if he didn't like her back? What if he didn't feel the same? She pushed the thoughts away. Any way she turned it, he was a great friend.
"Can I be a pretty dove?" She asked with a smile, looking over at Damian before Khole thought she was staring at him.

Khole smiled at Peaches before looking over at his friend. Damian was slumped down in his seat, his head resting on the back with his feet sprawled out in front of him. "Sure, but if Khole starts to get those hungry eyes, chirp so I can come mawl him." He laughed, smirking over at Khole.
"You're ridiculous." Khole laughed as he brought his looked down to the hand Peaches was messing with. He grinned softly, remembering the first night at the hotel in London. It was something that had been on his mind since he had gotten back.

"You sure you can save me though? I mean, he's a big boy." She teased, smiling up at Khole. She pulled his hand closer to her, watching him for a moment before she looked back at his friend. "Sometimes cats win over dogs, you know. They got claws and all that stuff." She said with a smile, but yawned. Her pain medicine was making her sleepy, and she wasn't sure how much longer she could fight it. But she didn't want Khole to leave, either.

"He can only beat this dog if it's gotten into the liquor cabinet." He laughed, running his hand through his hair. Khole smirked, and intertwined his fingers with hers. "It's true. He may not seem like much, but when he gets goin', he's like a train." Khole shrugged. He knew Damian was good when he wanted be, but everyone who got to knew him found out, he was like a firecracker. "But it's not always when he's gotten drunk.. I've gotten lucky sometimes." He laughed and squeezed her hand.
Damian looked over, sticking his tongue out. "Be quiet. The young lady's tired and your loud mouth is keeping her awake." He laughed and sat up. Khole rolled his eyes and looked over at Peach. "Do you want us to go? Or he can leave, I can stay and be here when you wake up." He honestly liked the last plan better, not really wanting to leave her alone.

She looked up at him, squeezing his hand gently. She thought it would be rude to tell the boy to leave. He'd been nothing but nice since he'd gotten there, even if half the time he'd been out cold. "You guys don't have to leave if you don't want to. But you don't have to stay, either. It's up to you." She said with a yawn. A nurse came in and closed the door behind her. She carefully switched out Peaches' sheets, trying to keep her covered as she did it. She then draped a thicker blanket over her and left them there.
"You think they'd at least give me pants or something. I mean, I can get not giving me a shirt but still." She said with a laugh.

Damian nodded, sitting back in his seat with a smile on his face. Khole shook his head, flinching some as the nurse shut the door. He kept quiet, chewing on his lip as he looked over to his friend. "At least your not a guy," Damian chuckled, looking to Khole as he shook his head. "What? I mean it's not bad, it's just when you stand.. nothings hidden." "I think you should go home, sleep a little more, and then, get up and go to work." Khole laughed, nodding over to the door. Damian sighed, pursing his lip out as if he were sad. "Fine..," He smirked faintly before standing up in his seat. "Bye little dove. Get well," Damian chuckled, and waved faintly. Khole stood up and gave him a quick hug before sitting back down in his chair, taking Peaches hand once more. "Til' next time," Damian said, giving one last wave before heading out of the room.

"Mm.. Oh, the blessings of being turned on in public and no one knowing." She teased with a smile, waving to him as he left. But then it was just her and Khole, just like back in France. She held gently to his hand, pulling it under the blanket as her's got cold. "You sure you can't fit?" She asked, looking over his face in silence. She bit her lip, thinking over their kiss for the hundreth time. "There's plenty of room if you sleep on your side." She said with a smile, slowly running her fingers over the top of his hand.

Khole laughed, squeezing her hand tightly as he stood before letting it go. He slipped from his shoes and climbed in the bed as gently as he could, scooting her blankets over so he wasn't laying on them. Propping his head on his hand, he smiled at her laugh, taking her hand back in his. "Are you okay?" He asked.

She smiled as he laid down, gently running her hand up his arm. She closed her eyes, just enjoying being close to him. It felt like forever ago the two of them were together in the same bed. "I couldn't be better." She said quietly, so close to sleep she was afraid she might actually conk out at any second. She slowly slipped her fingers between his, holding his hand close to her. "I missed you.. A lot.."

He frowned, wanting her to feel better. A soft smile played across his lips, and he leaned over, kissing her cheek. "I missed you too," He whispered, and adjusted himself so he could lay his head down, using his other arm as a pillow. His thumb rubbed over her palm, a warm smile growing on his lips. "I thought about you all the time," Khole admitted, looking over at her.
