Rhys just nodded, following slowly after her. It didn't make him feel any better. He had done exactly what Seth had told him not to do. He handed her a quarter for her to play Ms Pac Man, and put his quarter in the one beside it. He propped his elbow on the machine, his head in his hand. He used the joystick to navigate the game a little too easily. He got through four of the levels before he finally lost one life and gave up. "I'm gonna go grab a soda. You want something?" He asked quietly.

Cala made it to level four using all three of her lives, watched him. "Uh, a pepsi, please.." She murmured, felt bad. He looked down, upset with himself. So before he was out of view, she caught the back of his jacket, took his hand gently and squeezed it. "You didn't do anything wrong, Rhys.."

Rhys blushed when she took his hand, forcing a smile. He squeezed her hand gently, and walked over to get them their sodas. He walked back, handing it to her. He sat his down by his foot, putting another quarter in his game. He was playing for a little bit when he saw a little kid watching him.

"You wanna play?" He asked.

"Yeah." She said, playing with her curls. He picked her up, sitting back on the stool with her. He helped her play a few levels, pushing the joystick when she got stuck.

Cala sat next to them, just watching with a faint smile. She loved little kids, used to always play with Connor's little sister. She sipped at her soda, a smile on her lips as he helped the little girl.

The little girl's parent came to get her, and he sat her down, handing her the tickets. She smiled and bounced off. Rhys looked over at Cala, biting his lip. "She was cute. I can't twirl my hair and look that cute." He teased, leaning down to grab his soda. He popped the tab and took a drink of it, spinning around on the stool. He stopped, reaching up to rub the hole where his septum was. "Gosh." He said, reaching into his pocket for a tissue.

Cala laughed softly. "You could try," She teased softly, watched him. "You keep doing that with your nose and lip. Do you have piercings?" She asked curiously, playing with her drink before taking another sip.

Rhys bit his lip, tucking the tissue back into his pocket. "Yeah.. I got uh.. snakebites and a septum.. It feels weird without them in.." He said quietly, looking over at the game. He hoped she wasn't one of those people who despised piercings. His mother had been adamant when he got his, telling him he wasn't allowed to wear them around her. She had done the same thing with his brother, especially when it came to his tattoos. "I usually just wear them when I'm alone.. My mom hated them.."

"Ah that's cool, you should wear them more." She smiled. "I don't know why she would, it's just an expression of personality." She touched his hand gently, a blush creeping up her cheeks.

He turned his hand over, running his fingers over the palm of her hand gently. He looked down at their hands, then back up at her. "The jocks tend to take it as I'm some illiterate punching bag, so I just don't wear them in public.." He shrugged, running his fingers ever so slowly over her palm before he slipped his fingers between hers, squeezing her hand gently.

"Oh, makes sense," She murmured. "You know, Seth is gonna be one of the head Jocks next year.. Maybe things with change.." She smiled down at their hands, holding onto his gently.
