"Oooo, Seth's got a giiirl." He teased, leaning down to pick up his booksack. He tossed it over his shoulder, then grabbed his bottle of water. He made his way to the door, waiting for Seth. He nearly ran into Cala and blushed, biting his lip. "Sorry, Cala.." He said quietly, his heart pounding. 'I'm always like this around her..' He thought, looking over his shoulder for Seth.

Seth scoffed. "Whatever," He complained, getting up and gathering his things.

Cala huffed, spinning to glance at him, and blushed. "It's okay," She insisted, smiled at him.

Seth caught up, watching them, and nudged Rhys playfully in the ribs.

He bit his lip, swatting at Seth. "I uh.. You wanna maybe.. do something after school?" He mumbled, realizing how much of an idiot he sounded. But he knew he would only talk himself in a circle if he tried to correct himself. "They uh.. opened an arcade in that old empty lot we used to play in.. If you wanna go check that out.." He looked down at his sneakers, chewing on his lip. He almost wished his brother was here to help him.

Cala bit her lip, trying to hide her smile at his words. She had always thought Rhys was adorable in every way, but was to shy when it came to guys she liked. Especially guys she had one of the biggest crushes on.

She glanced at her smirking brother, but didn't say anything, instead bent to peer up at Rhys so she could see his face. "I'd like that.."

Rhys smiled, blushing slightly. "I'll meet you at your locker then.." He said quietly, reaching over to tuck a strand of her hair behind her ear. He thought for the billionth time how beautiful she was, pulling his hand back slowly. The bell rang for the beginning of class, and Rhys bit his lip. "This is all your fault, lover boy." He told Seth, waving to Cala with a smile before he started out of the cafeteria to go to his next class.

Cala smiled sheepishly, tilted her head a bit as she watched him pushed her hair back before taking off. Seth laughed. "My fault?" He called, and Cala shoved at him playfully, careful not to hurt him before she took off after the direction Tony had gone to class. Seth shook his head, wandering to the gym. But he was still out on leave, and would just be sitting anyway.

Rhys walked with Ace after class was over, his earphones draped around his neck. He smiled at something the dark haired boy said, looking down at his feet. "I wish I could get off that easy. I have to sit in classes that are entirely too dull."

"Why don't you talk to the teacher doing your scheduling next year?" Ace asked, his hands in his pockets.

"Because I'm not like you. I don't have a forte."

"You can always go work under one of the doctors. I gotta go." Ace said, spotting Cala. He didn't like any of his cousins.

"Uh.. Kay.." Rhys mumbled, watching him go before he walked over. "That's a demigod thing?"

Cala was leaning up against her locker, had just finished putting things inside and was getting off the phone with Seth, who was practicing with a few guys in the auditorium. Se frowned as Ace spotted her and left in a hurry. "Yeah..guess so. He was hurt and I tried to help him once." She shrugged. When he realized we were related, he wanted nothing to do with me."

Her smile returned again after a moment though as she straightened up. "Ready?"

"You're playing with lightning and water. Somebody's bound to get shocked." He said. Her smile was catching, and he couldn't help but smile in return, nodding his head. He could faintly hear the music coming from his earphones, tapping his fingers on his legs to the beat. He started out of the school, pulling his beanie out of his back pocket. He pulled it on over his head, glancing over at Cala. "You're really pretty today.. Uh.. every other day, too.."

Cala shrugged, wandering out the front doors. She frowned as she passed Tyler smoking, wrinkled her nose. It was far from a cigarette, she didn't think he smoked anyway, but she didn't say anything. Especially because she didn't need any snide comments from the guys he was smoking with. "Ah, thank you.." She murmured, a blush creeping across her cheeks as she smiled down at the ground.
