She watched his eyes change colors, smiling over at him. Something was starting to tell her he wasn't normal. Not that she was either. She listened to him talk, everything about him usually attractive. She normally didn't find guys too terribly attractive. She was into them, yeah. But she had never actually felt drawn to a guy. Not like she felt drawn to Khole.
"So, it's safe to assume that you know what you're doing?" She teased, not interested in her food anymore. She took another sip of her wine, her nails tapping slowly on the table. She shifted her weight, crossing her legs the other way. It wouldn't take long before he realized what she was; she had two long gashes down her back where her wings had been ripped out. But they were normally hidden.

"I'd like to think that," He chuckled, pushing another bite of chicken into his mouth before pushing the plate away and finishing off the glass of whine in one gulp. He was use to whiskey nipping at his throat as he took a big swig. But whine was different, it left an unusual after taste in his mouth. "Girls back home seem pretty easy to charm," Khole shrugged. He never thought of it being because of the trance some of the would be in, but that he actually had charm. It was sometimes hard to judge though. "But I guess, that just comes easily for an ecantado."
Khole scooted back his seat, leaning back to watch Peaches. He was still thinking over if he should make a move or not. It was odd, because normal he just went for it. He wanted her to like him, which was strange for Khole.

Peaches watched him, swirling her glass around slowly. "So, that explains why you're so attractive. But maybe it's also because you're built really nicely.." She said, wondering just what he looked like without the shirt on. She wondered just how many girls he had been with, but there were a lot of gullible girls back home. She used to work with one.
"I can see why you'd be kicking it solo, though. I mean, why settle for one person when you can enchant an entire town of girls?" She chewed on her lip, reaching up to run her fingers over the neck of her nightgown. She could honestly see where he was coming from, though. She was just one to turn people down, though.

He felt his cheeks warm as she spoke, the pink invisible against the tanned skin. "Let's go with 'cause I'm naturally built this way. Boosts my confidence more than saying it's because of what I am." Khole smiled, pouring more whine into his glass before sipping from it. He knew it would take a couple more to get a buzz, but he just wanted something to please his thirst. Even if whine wasn't the best answer.
"A town runs dry after awhile, only once in a blue moon does someone new turn up." He stuck his tongue out a tad, looking her from head to toe again. Each time, he found something that he hadn't seen the time before. "Besides, it'd be nice to settle down and have kids to spread the gorgeous gene too," Khole laughed, taking a long sip from the whine glass.

"The gorgeous gene!" She clapped her hands as she laughed, then stood up from her chair. "Oh, you really are a piece of work, love. Too funny." She said, walking to the bathroom to brush her teeth. She wiped the toothpaste from the corners of her mouth before she walked back to bed. She laid back, opening her book where she had left off. She closed it again, sitting it on the nightstand, She yawned, stretching her arms over her head.
"Why don't you come see what's on TV, oh keeper of the gorgeous gene?" She called, sitting up on her elbows. She drew one of her knees up, looking at the corner, waiting for him to round it. "Maybe they have subtitles for the French impaired, like you."

Khole rolled his eyes playfully as she laughed. He watched her scamper off, finishing off his glass of whine before standing up from the table. Walking over to the beds, he flashed a toothy grin. "I could learn french," He smiled, leaning over the bed to pick up his bag. His hand picked out a new pair of boxers and his toothbrush. Clicking on the TV, he placed the remote beside Peaches, pushing a bobby pin back in place before wondering off to the bathroom.
The hot water steamed up the bathroom quickly, his hands running it through his hair with shampoo. Khole hummed to himself, something he naturally did in the shower. It wasn't long before he was out, a towel wrapped around his waist as he pushed toothpaste onto his toothbrush. His hands doodling on the steamed mirror before making a place to watch as he brushed his teeth. Khole slipped on the new blue boxers, pulling the basketball shorts up afterward. His hands ran through his hair a couple times, a few strands sticking up here and there. He dried his upper body for walking out and rounding the corner. "Find anything interesting?" He asked, climbing into her bed to sit next to her.

Peaches flipped through the channels, stopping on what looked like an old movie. She was a sucker for anything old, even if she didn't understand it. It looked like 'I'll Be Home For Christmas', but she hadn't seen the movie in forever, so she wouldn't know. But the more she watched, the more she was sure that's what it was.
She looked up as he came in, a blush creeping across her cheeks as she looked over his chest before she met his eyes again. She watched him walk over, admiring every move his muscles made. "Yep. Ever seen 'I'll Be Home For Christmas'?" She asked, moving over a bit to make room for him. "It makes me cry every time I watch it, so if you're a softie, you might wanna change the channel."

He smiled, laying down on his stomach next to her. His head was propped up on his arms. "Nope, I watch move action-y movies." He teased, reaching over to poke her side softly. "I'll comfort you if you cry," A slick grin crossing his face for a split second before turning his attention back to the movie. "I think romance movies make girls expect to much out of a guy.. Not everything ends up so smoothly." Khole shrugged, he chewed at his lips as he watched the movie, mostly reading the subtitles.
"It starts at a young age with all those Disney movies. I did like Finding Nemo, though." Khole chuckled, his hand reaching over to turn the volume up a little more. French was interesting to hear, even if he couldn't understand it.

"I don't think movies ever made me expect anything. They just made me believe that people can be trusted and they'll never hurt you. Which obviously was a blatant lie." She shrugged, picking up the remote. "IIIIII'll be hoooome for Christmas.." She sang, really not wishing to be sad by the ending of the movie. "And Disney Princesses gave me unrealistic expectations of hair. I mean, this takes a lot of work. Like freaking.. Aurora can just get curls like that. Bull."
She stopped on a channel playing 'The Little Mermaid', and smiled. "Hey, speak of the devil." She said, laying back. "Look at this stuff. Isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?" She smiled over at him, reaching over to play with his hair.

He smirked as she began to sing. He thought of it as cute. But then again he had never met her either. Most girls seemed so complicated to him. This much small talk was a surprise to him, but he enjoyed it. "You must get some joy out of doing it, if not.. why would you keep doing it?" Khole shrugged, watching her flip through the channels.
He laughed as she began to sing along with Ariel. "And I'm the piece of work?" His eyes closing softly as she played with his hair. It was just a small thing he enjoyed, kind of like girls and shopping. Khole turned his head to side, his hand holding her head gently as he brushed her thumb across her cheek. A half smirk appeared on his lips, his hand falling away. "You have lovely eyes."
