She walked across the field. It was quiet and peaceful here, well when nobody's there to bother her. I mean she is an ice princess so of course she won't want anybody to bother her. No matter what she liked the quiet and she liked it a lot
She sat down on the bleachers and pulled a book out of her bag. She was reading the great book Lord of the Flies by William Golding, and even though she's read it plenty of times, she loved it. Maybe it was because of the lost of innocence that occurred in the book. Maybe not. No one will ever know.
She was indulged in the book, as always, feeling like she was right there with them all. Like she was with Ralph and Piggy and Simon and Jack. She wished she was there in the book so she could defend Piggy, but nevertheless she wasn't so there was nothing she could do, much to her dismay.
She paused. There was a praying mantis on her shoe. She screamed. It really caught her by surprise. She stayed screaming while wailing around, shaking her foot to the point that her 'Toms' fell off of her foot. Her book, which she had put on the bleacher had fell into the muddy grass below. She didn't notice though. She was too busy trying to get the already gone praying mantis off of her foot.
Once she had calmed, she pushed her bangs out of her eyes, then blushed. She had just made a fool of herself out in public. For what? A bug. A harmless bug. And because of that her book fell in the mud, and she was beet red, and was a fool.
She grabbed her belongings in a hurry and wiped off her favorite book. Then she got up and prepared herself to leave. She then realized, that no one was there. Or at least that she saw. Maybe they all left, but there wasn't many to begin with. So she sat back down, still red, wiped her book down again, until all of ther mud was almost gone, and continued reading, hoping nobody saw her.
