He wasn't human, and she could see that. She grew frightened, wrapping her arms around herself. He could easily kill her. He wasn't like the boy at the lake, he was much bigger, and obviously much stronger.
"You're big.." She mumbled, her eyes losing their light. She looked away, out at the forest behind the mall, knowing the lake was just beyond it. She tapped her fingers on her elbows, wondering what she should do.
"I.. I've got to go home.." She said quietly, walking past him, and out into the grass. She gathered the skirts of her dress, headed slowly to the forest.

Jacob blinked curiously, watching her antics change. Something was different when she looked away and he licked warily at his lips. No way was she human...not if she was that alluring. "You sure ou don't want a...ride..?" His voice trailed as he watched her go, shaking his head in confusion and lighting up another cigarette, starting towards his truck in the parking lot.
He climbed in, turning the keys, and cranked the heat to rid the thing of cool air, leaning back in the drivers seat thoughtfully, confused.
