Oleander wasn't used to the mall, and was amazed that even this late at night there was still so many people wandering around. She saw a fountain, and walked over to it, looking down at the pennies in it. She looked around, her grey eyes growing brighter with each passing person, then dying out when they walked past.
She gathered the skirts of her dress, and sat down on the edge of the fountain. He looked down at the pool of cloth her dress made around her feet. She put her hand in the fountain, watching the clear water wash over her fingers. She looked out into the crowd, waiting for someone to look her in the eye. And then they were hers. She tapped her fingers together in her lap, waiting patiently.

Jacob glanced around the mall, had just needed time alone to think. He he passed the fountain there he did a double take when he saw the girl there, smirking seductively before continuing on his way with a glance over his shoulder.
He stepped into Spencer's after a moment, beginning to look curiously around.

Oleander saw him look, and smile, then walk into a store. She didn't want to go in the store; it was dark, and she couldn't lure him in in the dark. She sat there and waited for him to come back out, tapping her bare foot on the floor. When she saw him come back out, her eyes lit up. 'Come on.. Come see..' She thought, tilting her head and putting on her best upset face. She wrapped her arms tighter around herself, her grey eyes alight. She bit her lip, waiting for him to come closer.

Jacob decided to leave the store, eyeing the young woman again with a smirk. He stepped closer, clearly, openly checking her out. Chuckling softly he passed her, moving to continue on. The joys of being single, he supposed. He could actually check women out.
Shaking his head some, he glanced around, licking at his lips out of habit, fingering the cigarettes in his pocket. Maybe he should step outside for a quick smoke.

She sighed, putting her head in her hands. 'Of course he wouldn't..' She thought, biting on her lip. She tapped her fingers on her jaw, looking around, her eyes losing their glow.
"Oh well.." She mumbled, gathering her skirts and making her way up the stairs leading out of the fountain. She picked them up with one hand, lifting her skirts enough so her bare feet wouldn't catch on them. She walked out of the mall, and nearly bumped into him.
"Oh.. Excuse me." She smirked, her eyes glowing bright again.

Jacob blinked, turning around, a cigarette hanging from his lips. "ah, hey hot stuff," He taunted softly, chuckling again. "Sure you're not following me?" He leaned up against the wall again, letting out a gusty breath of smoke before tapping ashes, gazing out across the parking lot. It was dark and cool, but he didn't really want to go home yet, could always go sit in his truck her supposed.

"Of course I'm following you. Any girl in her right mind would follow you." She said quietly, moving closer. She moved with delicate, fluid movements, just like the lake she came from. She looked up at him, trying to get his eyes to meet hers. She smiled, her eyes glowing brighter.
"Are you going somewhere? You can come see the lights with me.." She said, tilting her head to the side. She watched him carefully, her eyes locked on his. She was a creature of prey, so long as the prey could look her in the eyes. "They're beautiful.." She trailed off, biting her lip.

Jacob laughed softly. "Cos I haven't heard that before," He huffed, gazing at her. eyes caught on her own and he froze, smile fading some, cigarette hanging limply between his lips. Damn. anything he had planned on saying was forgotten in that moment, and suddenly his only focus was on her.

She saw him freeze, and smiled, her pale, delicate fingers tracing down his jaw. She ran her hand down his chest, her eyes never leaving his.
"What's your name? Are you gonna come see the lights with me?" She asked, running her thumb across his cheek. She drew her lips together, waiting for him to answer. She thought of the time when the people of the town used to light lanterns and put them on the lake. That was long ago, and since then they've stopped. But Oleander never forgot. She still enticed her victims into seeing the lights on the lake, and on occasion, that was their last trip anywhere, still looking for the lights as they drowned. But she had no intentions of killing him. Oh no. He was entirely to handsome to be killed.

Jacob blinked. "Jacob..." He mumbled softly, nodding, his eyes not wavering from her own. He tilted his head some. "the lights..?" Curious, intrigued. Something in his own eyes wasn't human though, animalistic in nature as he gazed at her.
He removed the cigarette from his lips, snuffing it out and dropping it to the ground as he awaited her reply.
