"Supposedly, Tk and I are getting an apartment and going to the college.." She finished off her second slice of pizza, dusting the crumbs from her hands, "I think I might be a doctor though," Parker shrugged, not really sure of which /career/ would suite her. It was something that eluded her. Doctor or nurse would be best, she knew she could be a good care taker. Had been practicing it all her life. Sighing softly to herself, she picked up a third slice from the pizza. Five were left.
"That pretzel any good?" A smile pulled at the corner of her lips as she held the pizza slice in both her hands. "For a bowling alley, the food isn't too bad." Parker shifted in her seat, sitting up to relieve the pressure on her back. Taking a quick sip from her drink, her throat welcomed the drink to relieve the dryness.

Oliver nodded at Parker's response to his question about what she would do after high school. "TK's a friend of yours I presume?" Oliver didn't know TK, but figured it was worthwhile to ask, since Parker brought the other person up in the first place. He didn't even know if TK was male or female. Oliver picked a bit of salt off of his next chunk of pretzel and tossed it into his mouth.
"A doctor? I think you need to do more than supposedly go to college for that." Oliver chuckled. Then again, he had a lot of schooling for his career as well. It helped that his prowess at mechanics and such allowed him to get into advanced classes for his major. That and the fact that he and his past brother had actually come up with some of this stuff.
"Yeah, the pretzel's pretty good." He then grinned. "Why do you think I'm sticking around here for my break? If the food wasn't good I'd head down the street to get something more appetizing. The cost is debatable, but..." Bowling alley food was always expensive. Oh well. Watching Parker take a drink Oliver realized that was one thing he'd missed from his own order, but figured he could just get a drink from the drinking fountain later on. Or buy a bottle of water that he could drink while he was working.

"Ha, yeah, you could say that. Depends on her mood." Parker laughed, remembering her first run-in with Taaron. It was in middle school, Taaron was the new kid. Parker assumed they had hit it off as friends, but she soon learned Tk wasn't one to just let a spark of connection keep them connected. They had grown pretty close over the years, and Parker considered her as one of her closest friends, but it wasn't like they talked or saw each other every day. Sometimes they went weeks without seeing each other.
Parker let a smile cross of her lips, nodding her head. "I know. I just don't know if I want to go to school for that long," It was something she was debating. To be a doctor, there's a lot of schooling involved. "My guess would've been, 'cause you're too lazy to walk somewhere else." She shrugged, taking a bite from her pizza. "What about you? What are you going to do after college?"

Oliver couldn't help but grin. "Sounds interesting." It didn't sound like a normal friendship by any means, but one that Parker seemed to value, and that was what mattered.
"I know, that's the tough part. I don't mind school, but having to take all of these core classes to lead up to the classes you actually want to take is a little absurd." And, in his case, learning it all again. He'd been to school before, and school wasn't as important in his first life as it was in his second life. You had to go to school to do pretty much anything nowadays, and it was as frustrating as it was interesting.
"Well, that too." Oliver responded to her quip about being too lazy to go somewhere else. Why head out when he could stay around here and grab a bite to eat? "I'll probably go into aerospace again." He didn't even realize his slip when saying 'again', but even if he did, he wouldn't have cared quite as much. He was coming to find that everyone in Estenberg had their secrets, and that there were very few people who were actually 'normal'. As such, he was starting to become more forthcoming about what exactly he was. Not that he would bring it up in front of a large crowd or anything, but hey, this was a one on one conversation...

Parker nodded. She could agree with not liking core classes, they were never her favorite. "Core classes are just too boring for me. They're easy, but it gets boring havin' to do the same thing each year.." Finishing off the slice of pizza, she pulled her drink closer. It must have been an hour or so since she turned it on silent. Pulling it out, she noticed four missed phone calls and ten messages. Two calls and five texts from mom and the other half from dad. It's always like they plan on how many times they would text and call her.
"Again?" She asked, her teeth chewing on her lip as she tried to think of why it would be, 'again'. Parker knew that some people had 'secret' lives in this town. That not everyone was who they seemed to be, like Kylie for instance.. she was a pirate. But Parker had never heard someone speak as if they had lived before. "What do you mean again?"

"I know the feeling. Hence why I'm glad to actually be taking classes related to my major." Oliver watched quietly as Parker retrieved her phone from her pocket and looked at it. As he couldn't see the screen, he assumed that no one had called, rather than assume that she was ignoring repeated calls from the other end. Though he was watching her somewhat concernedly.
But then she questioned him, and the spotlight was back on him. Oliver picked a piece of salt off of his pretzel and tossed into his mouth before responding. "Yeah, again. I'm sure you know about all the different things going on around town, how so many people around here aren't normal. Well, I suppose you could count me as one of them. I did a little bit of work with aeronautics in my past life." Oliver sighed and looked down at his pretzel and cheese, before grinning a little. "Alright, more than a little."

Slipping the phone back into her pocket, she listened intently as he spoke. "Well, I know one of my teacher is a pirate.. But I've never heard of someone being reborn?" She wasn't sure if that was the right word to use. Myths and fairy tales seemed to come alive in this town. Of course, Parker only knew of some, never having the privileged of her mom reading to her when she was little. "Like this life any better?" She asked, a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. Her hand cupped around her drink, her stomach full enough to where she didn't want another piece even though there were three slices left.
"You've been workin' on that pretzel for awhile now," Parker teased. She figured she looked like a pig, eating four slices of pizza while he was still working on his pretzel. "Or maybe, I'm just a pig." Her shoulders shrugged as she took a sip from her drink.
