The Act: August is a very kind person, given he gets what he wants. He can be an ass when he needs to be, and will kill anyone who touches his little sister. He can get violent when he's has too much to drink. Otherwise, he can be a kind, gentle person. He isn't any trouble unless you start it.
The Memories: August grew up in a pretty normal household. His mother left them when he was fifteen, leaving him and his father with Ember. He started drinking at a young age, but doesn't have much of a problem with it now. But any more than three and he can't stop. He spent the better part of his teenage years taking care of his little sister, but he wouldn't give it for anything.
