The Act: Zayne has a rather big personality. You can tell often what he's expressing. If you upset him, he gets stubborn and cold shouldered, but once you get past the stubborn side of him, he's a ball of fun and trouble. He takes his job seriously and loves kids, gets along easy enough with high schoolers. He has his rough times, and of course, always his silent ones. Zayne was born mute.
The Memories: Grew up relatively normal. Despite not being able to speak, it wasn't that he didn't know how, but that a literal genetic problem with never allow it. He grew up often teased about being autistic, but he is completely functional. He wanted to teach and have a family and good life, tried to keep good friends. High school was a struggle, but he learned from it, and by sophomore year he was in decent classes. Still a party-er, he has his moments, but at age twenty three he is already a teacher at the high school.
