"The coffee will be done in a moment." She said. "But we have orange juice and apple juice in the fridge. And I think we might have grape juice too." He tapped her fingers on the counter, still watching him. She couldn't deny she was entranced by him and the way he moved.
"I slept really good. You're warm, you know that?" She smiled, looking down into her lap. "What about you? Did you sleep well?" She looked back up at him, brushing a curl off of her forehead. "I didn't think it was going to storm this hard. I wouldn't be surprised if we lose power." She thought back to last night, feeling his lips against hers. The thought of it gave her butterflies, and she wrapped her arms around herself, shivering a bit.

He grabbed the two cups and walked over to the counter that Dallas was sitting at. Placing the two cups down, he leaned onto the counter with his elbows. "I'll wait for the coffee." He decided, smiling at her. Her eyes were so different, they swirled with different colors. Caine listened while she talked, placing his chin onto his hands.
"It stormed? Weird.. wait is it still storming?" He felt lost, as if he had missed something. But he wasn't paying much attention to anything besides the girl that sat across from him. She seemed so perfect. Kind, pretty, caring. Just plain cute. "I slept fine, ha, it was peaceful. You kept me warm all night." He laughed, and looked back at the biscuts, his stomach rumbling for food. Caine wasn't sure of what to say next, his mind still foggy from sleep. "How long were you up?" He asked, remembering Dallas had been awke before him.

She smiled, leaning over to poke his nose. She looked over at him before answering his question. "Uh.. a couple minutes before you. Not long." She walked around the counter again, pulling out the biscuits. She reached in the fridge, grabbing the butter and the jelly. She sat them on the counter, fishing in the drawers for a butter knife. She sat it on the counter, handing him a plate from the drain board.
"I'm gonna miss having you next to me tonight. You're really warm. And comfy." She said with a gentle smile, standing on her tip-toes to kiss his cheek. She leaned against the counter, waiting on him.

Caine plucked a few biscuts from the trey and laid them down on his plate, almost dropping them when his finger touched the hot trey. "I'll miss waking up and seeing your beautiful face." He chuckled when she kissed his cheek. His cheeks flushed red, and he quickly looked down, tearing open a biscut to spread jelly across. He wondered how long Devon and Christy would be asleep, hoping for another or so to be alone with Dallas. It wasn't that he didn't like Devon and Christy, he barely knew them in fact, he just knew his mind would blank out again with nothing to talk about.
"Do you have classes today?" He asked, handing her one side of the tore open biscut before picking up the other biscut on his plate. "Thank you for the biscuts. You're so sweet." He wiped his hands free of crumbs, before turning to get another plate for Dallas. He placed it down right beside his, asking, "How many do you want?"

Devon had heard the movement and yawned, had fallen asleep on the couch the night before and woke up around midnight to head to bed. Sitting up, he rubbed at his face, studying his arms, satisfied with the scarring that would eventually fade some. But the words would remain eligible no doubt.
Pulling on a tee shirt and a pair of jeans, he opened the door, glancing towards Christy's room before padding into the living room, mumbling a 'hey' towards the other two without much interest.

"No, I don't have any classes today. I do need to run to the library and print a paper though. But other than that, I get to be lazy today." She smiled up at him, hoping he would stay. "I just want one." She moved around him, pouring a cup of coffee. She walked around him again, pouring a little milk into it before taking her biscuit.
"Oh, hey Devon. Why don't you come eat? We got coffee and biscuits and stuff.." She said quietly, walking over to the dining table. She sat her things down, then looked over at Caine, her eyes bright with her smile. "You know, since it's raining, I might just stay home.."

Devon watched them a moment, then headed for the food, taking a biscuit and pouring some coffee. Warm food for breakfast that hadn't just been microwaved... He glanced over at her in gratitude, more than should have been given, but would be understandable considering she knew how little he had ever been allowed freshly cooked food.
He eyed Caine unsurely, not really with much interest, but curious nonetheless before putting some spread on the biscuit and biting into it.

Caine glanced over at Devon when he walked into the room, noding towards him when he said hey. The boy didn't seem to care that Caine was here, and it made him relax a little, knowing he wasn't disturbing anything. He reached over, putting jelly on his last biscut as Dallas poured her coffee. He waited for her to move into the dinning room, before fixing himself a glass and heading over to the table as well.
Caine chose the seat next to Dallas, placing his plate and coffee down on the table. He scooted the chair out, and sat down. "Hmm.. sounds like an evening full of fun. I could stick around if you want." He laughed, "I have no place to be." It was true, who else did he have time to spend with? His brother, but that didn't seem like a good idea at the moment, their conversation still heated into Caine's thoughts.

"I'd love it if you stayed. You know that." She said with a smile, taking a sip of her coffee. She spun it around a bit, mixing the milk and coffee more. She bit her lip, looking down at it before taking another sip. She picked up her biscuit, pulling it apart. She picked up a small piece, putting it in her mouth. She looked out at the rain pouring down outside, wondering if Christy was going to want to go play in it.
"You remember watching those movies on halmark when the girl or the guy would just run outside to the other person, and they would end up kissing in the rain or snow or whatever?" She took another bite of her biscuit. "I always thought that was kind of silly. I mean, that's cold.."

"Good," Caine laughed, looking down at he biscus on his plate. He picked one up, taking a bite. The biscut soother his hunger, making his stomach stop growling. He could now hear he rain outside, and wondered how he could have slept through it. Taking anoher bie of his biscut, he listened as Dallas talked about romance movies. He wasn't a very big fan of them, they seemed to fake to him.
"Well, it is romantic.. I guess. Maybe the passion keeps them warm." He shrugged his shoulders and took a sip from his cup, washing down the bistcut he had finished. "Thank you for the biscuts, they're great." Caine smiled, picking up the last biscut on the plate. He picked up the plate, walked over o the sink and ran waer over it before laying it down. His hands rubbed together, dusting off the crumbs before he returned to his seat and angled it toward Dallas. "I thought you would have liked the whole romantic thing," He chuckled, taking another sip from his coffee.
