She blushed, kissing him back softly. She felt him pull away, then looked up at him. She ran her hand across his cheek, her heart pounding in her chest. A million things ran through her mind, all of them about Caine. She smiled, wrapping her arms around him tightly. "Mm.. I'm happy to hear that. I think you're the only person on earth who can make me this insanely happy by just being here." She wanted to move closer, but she didn't think she could.
"I.. you really are amazing.. I can't think of a single guy who can even compare to you. And I know nothing about you, besides I just really feel drawn to you. And you make my heart race.." She stroked his cheek, looking up into his eyes. 'And I just really want to be with you..' She thought, biting her lip gently.

"On Earth? Hmm.. looks like we have to stay on earth then.. I'd hate to lose being the only one who makes you insanely happy." He laughed and leaned back against the wall. He twirled Dallas's hair in his fingers, listening to the quietness of the room. It was an awkward silence, or an eerie silence. Caine enjoyed just being with Dallas, even if nothing was said. His mind was filled with nothing, except Dallas. He wasn't sure if he had ever felt this way toward someone before, and he didn't want to. He didn't even want to feel this way with anyone, but Dallas.
Her voice was ringing again, in a lovely tone. "You are amazing.. and beautiful. Your, also, the first person who's ever made me want to stay on Earth." He watched as she bit her lip, running his fingers across her lip. He gently pulled it away from her teeth, like she had done with him. "You'll leave a mark." He chuckled as he pulled his hand away, placing it on the small of her back, while the other still played with her hair.

Dallas smiled, stroking his cheek. "Good. Because I don't think I could handle only seeing you every once and awhile. You're too perfect for that. I might be tempted to leave and go with you." She blushed as he pulled her lip from her teeth. She turned her head, kissing the palm of his hand before snuggling close, loving the feeling of his hand in her hair.
"You're gonna put me to sleep doing that." She said with a smile, kissing his neck gently. She rubbed his sides, then pulled her hands to his chest, holding onto his shirt. She closed her eyes, thinking about how amazing and wonderful he was. 'I don't know how anyone could possibly be so perfect..' She thought, listening to him breathe.
"Tell me a story. I wanna hear your voice. Tell me the one about the girl and the ball and the fairy god mother."

He laughed, and scooted forward at bit so he could lay down more. He readjusted himself so Dallas could be comfortable. Caine kissed her forehead softly, and rested his cheek against the top of her head. A slow yawn rolled from his lips, his eyes closed as he listened to Dallas ask him a question. "A story.. hmm.." He thought quietly to himself, trying to think of a story. His hand wiped through his hair as he bit the inside of his cheek. He wasn't very creative.
"Once upon a time.. there was a girl who got a blue ball for her birthday." He paused, "But her brother popped it, and so she never even got to play with it. The girl went to her room and didn't come out for the rest of the party. While her mother and father begged for her to come out, a fairy came in through the window. The fairy whispered softly to the girl, asking her what was wrong. The girl told the fairy about the blue ball and her brother. The fairy gave a smile, and told the girl it would be alright." Caine stopped to yawn, growing tired himself, "She spoke with kind words, telling the girl the blue ball would be downstairs waiting for her to play with. So, of course, the girl quickly hurried to the door, ran past her mom and dad, and down the stairs. She turned the corner and there the ball was, all fixed and bouncy. The girl said a quick thank you to the fairy who had helped her, and then the girl ran outside to play." It was the best he could think of. He laughed quietly at himself, but stopped as another yawn rolled off his tongue.

Dallas smiled, listening to his story. She didn't care how goofy it was. She just liked hearing his voice. She laid her head on his chest, rubbing it gently until she fell into a deep sleep.
She heard a loud clap of thunder sometime in the night, and moved closer to Caine. She looked over at the clock, the red numbers looking harsh in the black room. 5:13. She pulled the blanket up higher, laying her head back on his chest. She knew she wouldn't be able to fall back asleep, so she slipped out of bed, checking in on Christy, then Devon before climbing back into bed. She curled up close to Caine again, watching the clock change time until he woke up.

Caine fell asleep soon after he told his story. Only seeing pitch black in his dreams. His breath was calm, his body heat higher with the extra body of Dallas next to him. He slept comfortably next to her. Her body shape fit into the curves of his own.
He slept soundly through the night, only shivering when Dallas got up in the middle of the night. The storm didn't wake him, but soon he was blinking his eyes open. He stretched his arms out and turned his head to look at the clock, 5:15. He stroked his hand through Dallas's golden locks, and looked down at her. "Good morning." He smiled, and kissed her forehead.

Dallas smiled in the dark, wrapping an arm around him. "Good morning." She laid there for a bit more, listening to his breathing. Then she sat up, leaning down to kiss his cheek before climbing out of bed. "How about some coffee and biscuits?" She asked, then walked into the kitchen. She put the coffee on, then started gathering things from the pantry. She had remembered watching her dad help her mom make biscuits. She pulled a mixing bowl and a whisk from the cupboards, and began searching for her measuring cups. In a matter of minutes, she was stirring the mix together, pushing her hair from her forehead with the back of her hand.
"It's been awhile since I cooked breakfast. At least, not from a can." She said quietly, still stirring the mix.

Caine's breath caught by the surprised hug, but he laughed and stretched again. He watched as she got up to bed, his eyes followd her til she turned into the hall. He laid in bed for a few more moments, before lazily pulling himself up and crawling off the bed. His fingers ran through his hair as entered out into the hall and walked into the kitchen.
"I've never cooked breakfast." He chuckled and walked over to Dallas, hugging her around the waist. His lips brushed the side of her cheek, before he went and grabbed the trey the biscuts went on, from the counter. Caine placed it down beside Dallas and looked around the kitchen. "Hmm.. where are your cups?" He asked, his throat was parched. His stomach growled, and he rubbed his hands together. "Sorry." A smile pulling at his lips.

"Thank you." She said, blushing at his kiss. She nodded to the cabinet above her, then moved out of the way so he wouldn't hit her. She started dropping the biscuits on the tray. She put the final one on, then slipped them into the oven. She walked around the counter, sitting at one of the stools. She drummed her fingers on her legs, looking over at Caine. She loved the way he moved, the way his muscles moved, the smile on his face when he looked at her. She thought for a moment that she could easily fall in love with this guy. She quickly pushed it out of her mind, playing with the timer.
"Do you want eggs and bacon?" She asked quietly.

Caine pulled open the cabinet and got down two glasses. His shoulder creaked as he rolled, to stretch it out. He turned to Dallas, watching as she slipped the biscuts into the oven and then heading around to the other side of the counter. "Um, yeah. What do you have to drink and what do you want?" He asked as he moved over to the refridgerator. His fingers padded against the door handle. It was nice waking up to see Dallas, it made him feel comfortable.
Caine's eyes traced the upper part of her body, smiling as he reached her eyes. It was amazing at how easily he smiled around her, he wasn't used to it. He liked it, though. His fingers ran through his hair as he thought of what to say. "Did you sleep okay?" he asked, remembering being cold for a minute or so when she had gotten up to check on Christy.
