"I can come by tonight. If your not there, I'll just keep checking til you are." Caine smiled. When her lips touched his cheek, a shiver ran down his spine in surprise. He wasn't used to it since he had died, but his smile grew. He grabbed her by the hand and pulled her back close to him, wrapping his arms around her in another hug. He pushed her bangs from her face, and kissed her forehead. "I'll see you soon. Maybe, I'll have stories to tell next time." He let her go, and watched as she walked to her car. Caine took one last sip of his coffee, before handing out the door as well. Making a left, he started his way to the nearest clothes shop.

Dallas had just gotten Christy into bed that night, and Devon had been at Zander's house when she left. She didn't know if he was sleeping the night, but if he was, that was okay. She parked her car in front of the apartment, pulling her keys out of the ignition. She walked to the trunk, pulling out a few bags of clothes. She figured by the day after tomorrow they should be ready to move in. She walked to the door, balancing the bags. She unlocked it, then pushed it open with her foot. She walked back to her room, setting them all on her bed. She grabbed Devon's bag, and walked to his room, starting to fold and put his laundry into the dresser.

It was a little past ten, when Caine came into the apartment complex he had been in last night. On his back, he carried a bag that contained the clothes he had bought that morning. He also had gotten a phone, but no luck of finding a place to stay. He wasn't here for a place to stay though, he was here to fulfill a promise. A smile crossed his face as he noticed a familiar car parked out front some apartments. He started towards the one he knew had a familiar face inside.
His hand knocked against the door three times, a smirk crossed his face. Caine waited, leaning against the frame. It felt nice being here again, he felt relaxed, at ease. The hand in his pocket fumbled with a key. Pulling it out, he unlocked the door slowly. "Dallas?" He called, opening the door and putting a foot inside.

Devon had stepped foot into the apartment moments before, having only been here once for several short minutes. He stared at Christy on the couch curiously, the young albino girl entertaining herself with some doll. Watching this, seeing as he had been so deprived of such things, he spun with a faint curl of his lips as the door unlocked, hands flexing in his attempt at control. He had been told he couldn't go around acting like the cannibalistic demon he was...or mentally ill, or whatever.
He blinked, baby blue eyes relaxing just slightly, and slinked away to go find Dallas, hearing Christy's happy, "Hi!" Behind him.

Dallas had just finished Devon's clothes when she heard a knock on the door. She walked out of his room, hearing Christy greet someone. She saw Devon, then Caine. She looked up at Devon, biting her lip.
"Hey, you okay?" She asked, gently rubbing his arm. "Devon, you look tired. Why don't you go to bed?" She suggested, standing up to kiss his forehead. "You've got new sheets and everything."
She walked over to Caine, wrapping her arms around his neck. She hugged him tightly, then looked over at Christy. "It's late, missy. I thought I put you to bed." She took Caine's hand, pulling him over to the couch. She sat down, looking at Chrisy's doll. She didn't remember getting it, and assumed it must have been Connor.

Caine watched as someone got off the couch, then a small voice said hi and his eyes flicked back to the couch. He smiled at the little girl, thinking it must be Christy. "Hi." He said He heard light footsteps approaching him and his head turned quickly to spot Dallas wrapping her arms around his neck. "Hey." He laughed and hugged her back. As they sat down, he looked over at Devon and then looked back to Dallas.
Caine wasn't sure of what to say. The other two people had surprised him, he hadn't expected them to be there. He slipped his bag from his back and sat it on the floor. "I.. so this is Christy? and Devon? Nice to meet you two." It came out awkward, but it was all that came to mind.

"I'm fine..." Devon mumbled, yawning as he slipped off his shoes abd padded towards the small kitchen for a glass of water.
Christy waved happily, watching him and Dallas curiously a moment, glancing up as Devon set his water down to take his hoodie off, arms healed for the most part, the profanities and words cut into the pink with fresh scarring.

Dallas pulled Christy close, stroking her hair before setting her on her feet again. "I know I'm not your mom. Or your brother.. But you need to go to bed if you want to wake up in time to see him and Bandit tomorrow." She said, kissing her forehead gently before guiding her to her bedroom. She tucked her in, then turned on her lamp before flipping off the overhead light.
She walked back into the living room, pulling off her shoes. She yawned, looking over at the clock. "I got a few more loads of clothes I have to do if you want to come with me.." She said, looking over at Caine. She was worried about Devon, but didn't want to pressure him. She got up, taking Caine's hand before walking back to her bedroom. She sat on the bed, pulling one of her shirts into her lap. She folded it slowly, setting it beside her.

Caine kept quiet while Dallas and Devon exchanged words. He felt it was better to say nothing, it didn't seem to matter that he was there. His thumbs drummed against his legs as Dallas took Christy back to bed. He smiled and followed her back to her bedroom, sitting a few inches away from her on her bed. "They're nice." He laughed, and looked down at the basket of clothes. He reached down and grabbed a t-shirt, helping Dallas fold laundry.
"How was your day?" He asked, nudging her with his elbow. Caine was happy to see her again and she seemed happy to see him. He put the t-shirt to the side, and grabbed another, folding it more slowly this time.

Christy allowed her to put her to bed without a fight, being a rather easy child. She nestled up and closed her eyes, listening to the door close.
Devon had watched this curiously, then watched as Dallas invited the other guy to go with her. He gazed after them, licking at his lips, and sat down on the sofa, staring at the wall a moment before stretching and sprawling out boredly.
