The year is 1980. Voldemort has been defeated; he's dead and gone, killed by Hit Wizards in the early months of 1978. The horcruxes he made have been destroyed and the Ministry claims that there is no way he can 'come back'. Peter Pettigrew will never have the chance to betray Lily and James Potter, and Sirius will not be imprisoned for murder. Everyone who was meant to be dead is alive. It's nothing short of a miracle.
Two years have now passed since that day of victory in 1978. Witches and wizards all over Britain are trying to piece their world back together again. Lily and James are happily raising their first child, as are Frank and Alice Longbottom. Those who fought against the Dark Lord are now trying to get on with life again.
But there are also ex-Death Eaters walking around, living their lives as normally as possible. Many have avoided Azkaban by claiming to have been under the Imperius Curse. Some are suspicious of them, but others couldn't care less. Some ex-Death Eaters still believe in what their fallen Lord stood for, while others are trying their best to assimilate with the rest of their world. It's a slow process, but there's hope at the end of the tunnel in this odd mixture of
