Channing had conned Shaun into eating at Olive Garden, then bailed on her. Which was typical of Channing. Especially if he had saw a cute girl at another restruant.
"One, please.." She said quietly, adjusting the sleeve on her shirt. It fell off her shoulder again, and she left it.
"We only have a table open with another gentleman. Is that alright?" The waiter asked her.
"Uh, yeah, sure." She said with a shrug, then followed him to the table. She was expecting an old man, or some creep. But the boy looked.. normal.
"And what would you like to drink?"
"Water, please." She said, sitting down at the table. She smiled over at the boy in the dim room. "Well, at least I'm not eating alone. I'm Shaun." She held her hand out across the table.

Damian looked up from the menu he held in his hands. The waiter was approaching his table, with a girl. With a roll of his eyes, he looked up towards the waiter, then towards the girl. "Damian." He pronounced his name, short and simple before reaching his own hand to meet hers in an awkward hand shake. He studied her, carefully. Damian wasn't very happy that they had added someone new to his table, but he couldn't be exactly angry. Moments of silence passed, and he was already back to looking at his menu.
He knew it was rude to not say anything, but he didn't really care. "Sorry, just wasn't expecting... company." He glanced up from the menu, before placing it down, wondering how much more awkward this situation could get. Damian picked up his glass of tea, sliding the lemon down into the ice before taking a drink. "Why would you come here alone?" He wasn't one for beating around he bush, if he had something to say he would say it, even if it did hurt someone's feelings. Thanks Ares He thought, looking up toward the ceiling with his eyes as if he could see the god himself.

She looked down at the menu, but her agent only allowed her to have a salad. But she liked seeing what she was missing out on, what she couldn't have.
She looked up at his question, then took her water from the waiter, who almost spilled it on her. She smiled at him, taking it slowly.
"I.. my brother was supposed to come eat with me, but he kinda bailed on me.. Guess he saw a cute girl or something." She shrugged. She was tired; had just gotten off of work a few minutes ago. She was still in her bikini she had been modeling. Just had thrown a pair of skinny jeans and a baggy shirt over it. "There's a reason you're sitting here all alone?" She asked, knowing she hated to eat alone.

"Are you ready to order, sir?" Asked the waiter as Shaun took the water from him.
"Smoked Mozzarella Chicken." Damian handed the menu off to the waiter, and leaned back in his chair.
"And for you, ma'am?"
Damian waited for the waitor to leave, before thinking about how to answer Shaun's question. "I was just in the mood for Olive Garden, and I was too lazy to try and pick up a date." He looked off to the side of the room, before looking back towards Shaun. "But, hey, I guess that worked out well. You wouldn't of had a place to sit if someone else was with me." He smirked, still advoiding eye conact with the girl.

"A salad." She said simply. "No tomatoes." She handed him her menu. If she had tomatoes in her salad, she fed them to Shawn. She couldn't stand the taste of them.
"I could have always waited. It's not like the salad would have died in the fridge." She said with a shrug, pulling out her phone. She smiled at the text from Shawn, texting him back quickly before tucking it back into her pocket. She pulled the pony tail holder off of her wrist, pulling her hair back from her face.
"Or I could have found out where my pig of a brother ran off to." She said flatly, taking a sip of her water.

"But instead you chose to sit with a random guy." Damian shrugged simply. It was weird to be sitting with a girl who barely knew at Olive Garden. He didn't much like it either. At least their food had been ordered and would shortly come to the table. He scratched his hand, before folding his hands on the table and watching other people around them. His eyes grew dark as he watched oher people enjoying their meals.
He looked back towards Shaun, not having anything to say to her. He turned his wrist over, looking at the time on his watch. "Excuse me." He stood from the seat, and walked back towards he bathroom. He didn't have to use it, he just wanted to ge away before a smar comment rolled across his lips. Damian opened the door to the bathroom, and walked over to the sink. Turning the water on, he looked at himself in the reflection. He washed his hands, and took his time drying them, before walking back out of the bathroom. He could see Shaun clearly as he stood in the small hallway. "I was enjoying this more when I was alone." He grumbled as he started back towards the table. He sat back down, taking a sip from a fresh tea that had been left from waitor. "So.. do you work?" his question came out awkward and almost forced.

"It wasn't much of a choice." She said as nicely as she could. People normally didn't get on her nerves, and she wasn't one to let them. She worked at a store where people were never satisfied. She was used to people being rude. She watched him leave and pulled her phone back out, texting Shawn back before putting it away when he came back. She took a sip of her water, listening to his question.
"Yes. I'm a model for Victoria Secret in the mall." She said flatly, spinning her straw in her cup. She couldn't help but think about how she would much rather be eating dinner with Shawn. 'Thanks a lot, Channing.' She grumbled in her head.
"And you?" She asked, looking past him.

Damian laughed to himself. Why was he even trying to talk? He never asked her to take the seat, at least he tried to be nice. It won't last long though He began to surf through his mind to keep him occupied as she talked about Victoria Secret. Not a very interesting job, of course neither was his. "Areopostale." He watched as the waitor brought the food to the table. "Can you go ahead and bring my check? I won't be ordering anything else." He asked before looking down at the plate in front of him. The waitor nodded, turning towards Shaun, "What about you, ma'am?"
Damian unrolled the napkin that with-held his utensils. He picked up the fork, and began to poke at the chicken with it, only looking up to see the waitor leave the table as he was chewing. He stopped after a couple bites to take a drink. "How's the salad?" It was all he could really think of to say. He wasn't interested in knowing more about her. His hands poked at the chicken more with the fork, putting a small piece on the tips.

"You can bring me my check, and a box for this. I'll be going home." She said, not even touching the salad. She looked up at him and shrugged.
"I don't know. It's a salad. There's not much to be desired about a salad." She said, pulling her phone back out of her pocket. She texted a few people before putting it back in her pocket as the waiter came. She gave him a ten dollar bill, then handed him three more before dumping her salad into the box.
"That should cover us both, right? Keep the change." She said, standing up with her box. "Nice meeting you." She said flatly before grabbing her phone off the table and walking past the waiter.
