Marc stopped dead in his tracks, something telling him not to go. He turned back around and saw the boy standing there. He stormed over, gritting his teeth. He was seriously close to shoving sand in the kid's face.
"What the fuck do you want from me?" He asked, holding his arms out. "You're really getting irritating. And it's a damn shame because you're actually kind of cute. Do you make it a point to go bothering people? You're just like my fucking sister. She's always trying to fix what ain't broke." He didn't know why he talked so much around the kid, maybe because he reminded him of his mother. "Seriously. What the hell do you want?"

Tony flinched as he was stopped from leaving. "I want to leave now, actually," He mumbled bitterly. "I don't deal with assholes." He shrugged. "And I don't want anything from you, so I don't expect you to give anything. You looked down is all, sometimes it's nice to be able to talk to someone you don't know. Someone who can't judge you since they don't know the real you. But yeah, whatever."
He glared faintly, pulling a beenie cap onto his head loosely and turning, arms crossing over his chest in an attempt at warmth against the breeze. "But you're as blind as every other person who has been lost in themselves. So I'm goin' home." And he started walking again.

Marc shook his head, ticked off it took nearly screaming at the guy to make him leave. "Fuck you, too." He spat, turning and walking back the way he came. His phone started ringing and he glanced at the screen, clicking to send the call to voicemail. He didn't want to talk to anyone ever again.
He found a tree with a lot of shade, and sat down beneath it, running his hands up and down his arms. He wasn't cold, despite the dropping temperatures. He never noticed temperatures unless they were extremes. He lowered his head, feeling bad for yelling at the boy. 'I'm the only person I know who can push everyone on earth away..' He thought, picking at his stitches again until one of them started to bleed.

"You wish," Tony snapped over his shoulder. "But with that attitude you can even get that." He gritted his teeth, dropped onto a bench on the other side of the area instead, mulling his thoughts and actions. He stared dosn at his hands, suddenoy not sure what to do, and gazed over at a swingset in the grassy area along the beach. It was empt and deserted but memories lingered and he watched his own memories before his eyes. His mother and him younger. The laughter as she pushed him.... It blocked out all senses for minutes until he shook his head, as if trying to clear it.

Marc sat there for a moment before walking off to find the boy. He sighed and sat down beside him, thinking for a moment. He looked down at his hands and his once again bleeding arm. He watched the blood slip down to the edge of his arm, pool there, then drop away. He watched it to that for a few minutes before actually speaking.
"... m'sorry...' He said quietly, watching another drop of blood fall to the sand, turning the sand a dark red. He tipped his arm down, and watched all the blood flow down his arm, and off of his fingers. He looked at his tattoos a moment, then over at the boy.
"You said I'm not human but I could never shift like the other five.." He said, looking back at his hands. "Moma always said I was just special.. That it would come to me in time.. I sometimes wonder if moma lied.. Maybe I'm not like them.. Maybe something happened to me and I'm just.. different.."

Tony looked over at him in surprise at firt, hadn't heard his approach. Absently he gazed down at the bleeding arm and took it gently into his lap. He pressee finertips to where it was bleeding, careful of the other stitches. "Don't be this way.." He murmured softly.
He listened to his words, frowned some. "Maybe you're just a late bloomer. Or maybe she was trying to protect you from something. I doubt she should intentionally lie to hurt you. I don't know you or her, but I'm sure she loved you..."

Marc felt the boy take his arm, and looked over at him. A part of him wanted to just tear his arm away, and another told him it was okay, that the boy didn't want to hurt him. He bit his lip, listening to him.
".. Guess I'll never know.." He said quietly, looking down at the bloodied sand. "-used to have a best friend.." He mumbled, not raising his head. "Told me.. '-why don't you kiss me? Like moma and daddy do?' So I did. Kissing him as a little kid felt more right than kissing that girl at junior prom.." He bit his lip again, then ran his teeth along the piercing.
"Moma told me not to tell anyone, that some people don't understand. They don't get that love is love no matter who it's between.. So I never told anybody.." He glanced over at him, then back down. "m'sorry you had to die cause of it.. You deserve to be happy too. Gay or not.."

Tony drew his hand back as the guy talked, reacing it a moment longer until the bleeding stopped. Gently, he let him go. "I learned the hard way to ignore what others think," He admitted softly. "Was pretty damn depressing. Took dying to figure out it didn't matter what they thought. Pretty sad I guess, but I'm doin' better now, even if I'm technically only alive in a surreal way."
He placed the guys arm in his own lap so he could rock forward thoughtfully, elbows resting on his knees. "You're right though, some people just don't understand. She was a smart woman, your mom." He smiled faintly over at him. "Sorry about your loss, it's rough when you lose a loved one, the only one that really knows your sexuality. She's all I ever told, too. The only one who was okay with it at the time. I found out in like, fifth grade I think...only ever kissed a girl once and they're the ones who adopted me. Some people are a little more accepting now.." He shrugged.

Marc nodded, but didn't quite believe it. He knew his dad would probably disown him if he said he liked guys over girls. He guessed it would have to be like a scraped knee- he'd have to suck it up and get over it. Live with his father forever, live alone, or marry a girl. Those were his only options.
"I guess.." He said quietly, chewing on his lip. "I guess.. moms are a little more understanding.. They know you just want to be happy whereas fathers think it's a disgrace.. That being gay is some sort of disease that you catch, that it'll put shame on your family.." He shrugged again, looking down at the sand. He reached down, taking some of it into his hand and watched it slip through his fingers.

"Yeah I guess they are.." He murmured quietly, rubbing at his face with both hands. "I don't even talk to my dad anymore..thik that's what hurt the most after she died...I'm in a better place out of that house though. It's his own problem, I'll be happy if I want and it's not his choice."
He glanced back at the older male. "How'd'ja get so roughed up?" He nodded to his arms, not wishing to linger too much on the subject of his own past, watching him sift through the sand.
