"History," She mumbled, rubbing at her face. "I think I'm just gonna call my boyfriend and see if he can pick me up. I don't feel good." She leaned against the lockers, pulling out her phone to make the call. "You work at the hospital huh?"

"Or you can do that." He shrugged, opening up one of the textbooks to check if his notes were in there. "Yeah, sometimes. Mostly it's for extra credit. And I get out of school half a day. And don't have to take all the lower classmen classes, either." He pulled his booksack off, leaning down to unzip it and fish out his jacket.

"I guess.. It usually just gets my ass handed to me by the jocks." He shrugged, pulling his light blue jacket on over his scrub top. He put his books in his bag, then zipped it back up. "You wanna come sit at the hospital with me?" He asked.

"Guess so.." Zoey crossed her arms over her chest, looking around warily as she followed Ace out of the building. She was still terrified around every corner, Jason still haunted every thought.

Ace clipped his ID onto his bag, looking back to make sure Zoey was still following before he stepped out onto the pavement. He held his hand out to help her down the big down step before he put his hands back into his pockets.

Zoey took his hand and stepped off the step, thanking him softly before crossing her arms again. Once more she looked around briefly, chewing on a snakebite.

"Looking for the boogeyman?" He asked, glancing over at her. He knew he himself was always paranoid, but he was the complete opposite. He'd rather not see whatever it was coming. "Everyone has their own definition of the boogeyman. I think mine would have to be my uncle."
