Now that school was about to start, business had gotten oddly busy. He wasn't sure why. But he wasn't arguing, either. It was money for the baby, money to take care of the girl that was soon to be his wife. He didn't care about himself as long as she was okay and their baby was okay.
He took a bite out of his sandwich, tapping his foot against the bench of the picnic table he was sitting on. He chewed it slowly, looking out at the park before he took another bite.

Zoey had planned on meeting Britton for lunch, and walked quietly through the park until she spotted him. Lithe little hands covered his eyes. "Guess who," Zoey breathed with a smile before she sat down and hugged him close. "Mm..I feel like I haven't seen you in forever.." She complained, even though her mother had persuaded him to come over for dinner the night before.

Britt smiled, wrapping his arm around her. "I know. Everytime I see you, you get a little more beautiful." He said, kissing the side of her head. He handed her the sandwich he'd gotten her, then took another bite of his own. He reached for his drink, taking a sip out of it. "You ready for school?" He asked, kicking a leaf off of his shoe.

Zoey took the sandwich and a bite of it, chewing and swallowing carefully before swallowing. "Yeah, I guess," Zoey breathed softly, gently patting her stomach. She yawned softly, rubbing at her nose before smiling at him.

"Everytime I look at you, it's like you're bigger than you were." He said, taking another bite of his sandwich. He reached over, gently rubbing her stomach before he reaches for his drink again. "Have you gone to the doctor yet to find out what it is?"He asked, picking up a piece of meat tha had fallen on his jeans.

Zoey smiled at him sleepily, had literally been in bed asleep until an hour ago. "Mm, no.. I wanted to wait and make an appointment to go with you." She kissed his cheek, then took another bite of her sandwich.
