"Okay." She pushed something into her pager before she pocketed it again. "And you're allowing us to treat you by any means necessary?"

"Please don't hurt him.. Just make him better.." Monroe cried.

"We aren't going to hurt him, darling." She said with a smile.

Zain nodded without a care. "Make it stop.." He begged, clutching at his head with an agitated cry as several more voices began to argue along with the first one. He made a move to try and get out of the chair, ready to shut them up himself.

"No, sit down." The nurse said, gently placing a hand on his chest. She took the needle from the nurse that came in, carefully poking Zain in the arm with it. She tossed it to the bin once it was empty, holding onto his wrist to wait for his pulse to slow. "You're going to be really disoriented, okay?"

Zain growled at her as she touched his chest, dropping back into the seat. He looked at Monroe and eased up a bit, flinching at the brief bite of the needle. Eventually his heart stopped racing so face and he reached up with his free hand to rub blearily at his face.

Monroe bit his lip, watching Zain carefully. "Go with the nice nurse, okay?" She told him, helping him to stand up and pointing to the next nurse. "Do whatever you have to do before he gets worse." She said.

Zain's eyes narrowed and he looked at each other them, chest rising and falling slowly, eyes beginning to glow a bit brighter in defense as he wandered towards her.

Monroe couldn't help but feel disappointed when his eyes started glowing for someone else. But somewhere in the back of his mind, he knew better than to be sad about it. It wasn't the first time and it wasn't the last. He let the cop help him up and lead him back to his room.

Unlike with Monroe, his gaze had been more of a warning. And once Monroe was out of the room, he looked around in hazy confusion as he reached the nurse. The parasite was still fighting back strong and he tried throwing a punch so he could make another run for it. Luckily he was disoriented enough to miss his mark and hit the wall, eyes dimming as he whimpered and hugged his hand to his chest.

"Come on.." She said, gently taking him by the elbow. She carefully lead him into the operating room where she helped him into the bed. He was soon put to sleep and given the most extreme operation they had to get rid of the parasite before he was brought back into Monroe's room where Monroe was pacing the floor with his hands still cuffed.

Zain wasn't asleep long after they finished, body working through the medication like it was nothing. But he wasn't so sick in the head either, blearily wandering into the room beside the nurse.
