"I was broken before I met you, Zain.." Monroe mumbled, moving over to him. He wrapped his arm around him, giving him a kiss to the back of his neck. "Don't think like that, baby.. I need help too.. It's not you who made me like this.." He bit his lip, hiding his face in Zain's neck.

'Fuck up,' A voice sneered and he swallowed.

"No you didn't, baby.." He said quietly, carefully sitting up behind him. He ran his hand gently through his hair, afraid he'd said something to set him off again. 'He's mumbling stuff..' He thought, leaning down to kiss his cheek.

'You don't deserve him.'
"But I love him.." He choked, curling up tight again.
'And Kenneth too?'
"No...just Monroe.." Tears fell down his cheeks and he sniffled.

"Zain.." He breathed, running his hand gently down his chest. He bit his lip, slowly rubbing his stomach in hopes it would calm him down, that he would relax. "Baby, don't listen, okay? My nurse will make you better.." He said quietly.

Zain brought his hands to his face brokenly, tugging at his hair. He reached down and covered Monroe's hand, holding it tightly as he closed his eyes with faint breaths.

He shifted his weight.

"I don't wanna..." His arm wrapped tightly around Monroe, protective and refusing to let go. "I love him.."
'Fool.'
"Go away!" He screeched.

"I am getting better.. You're here.." He said quietly, watching him. Tears fell slowly down his cheeks at how broken Zain really was. He covered his ears when he screamed, the tears falling faster now. It wasn't long after that his nurse came in, looking over at them.

Zain panted softly.
"Leave me alone...stop talking.." He begged softly.
'Nobody deserves you.'
"I know they don't.."
'Then end everything, hm?"
"I can't...I can't leave him.." He barely noticed the nurse, completely lost in the insanity in his own head again.
