Baz hugged him tightly, gently running his hands through his hair. The voices got louder, more cruel than before. But Baz said nothing, just held on loosely to Cole.

'He probably won't ever touch you again. And you certainly can't blame the poor boy. His own boyfriend tried to rape him.'

'You can't even be a boyfriend to anyone. Let alone another boy. Just go home and forget about it. You're a terrible person. You're mad.'

'Stupid boy. You may as well come home and forget about schooling. You can get a job cleaning streets. That's what scum like you deserve to do.'

Cole nestled against him, and after awhile was back to running his hand over his chest, easing up again. He trusted Baz enough to let it go, obviously trusted him to let him even kiss him in the first place. A content breath passed his lips and he managed a smile towards Sebastian.

Baz looked over at him, forcing a smile back at him. But he was honestly starting to believe the voices, that he really was a terrible boyfriend. 'Maybe that's why he's been so sad..' He thought, running his hand gently through his hair before dropping it back to his waist. He leaned back against the sofa, closing his eyes. He rubbed his side gently, hoping the voices would silence soon. But they only seemed to be getting louder.

Cole gazed over at him quietly, eyebrows furrowing. "Baz?" He mumbled, reaching out and touching his jaw. "What's wrong?" He whispered softly, kissed his cheek.

"Nothing.." He breathed as if on cue, squeezing Cole's side gently. He rested his hand on his hip, his other hand draped over his stomach. He ran his fingers over his belly button ring under his shirt, chewing absently on his lip.

'No one of mine is going to be queer. You're going to take that piercing out right now and leave. I forbid you from being around his boy. Do you understand?' His father's voice screamed at him.

"No.." He mumbled defiantly; as far as he knew, his dad was screaming in his ear right now.

Cole sighed, curling up close. "No what?" He mumbled. "What's wrong..?" He kissed over his jaw, then kissed him softly on the lips, resting his hand gently on Baz's chest, watching him in complete confusion.

Baz looked over when he spoke, his breath hitching at the kissed over his jaw. He met the kiss gently, reaching over to slip his hand to the base of his neck, moving closer. He looked over at him, his eyes searching Cole's. "I never realized just how handsome you were until now." He said, laying his head on the couch. He watched him, slowly tracing his fingers over his neck. They moved to his jaw, then his lips, slowly running his thumb over them.

Cole smiled sheepishly. "Yeah?" He whispered, tilting his head happily at the touches. He gazed back at him with clear affection, gently reaching to play with his free hand. "I...think I'm falling in love with you," He whispered, felt his cheeks burning and bashfully hid his face by looking down.

"You're not too hard to fall for yourself." He said with a sideways smile, tipping Cole's chin back. He wrinkled his nose playfully at the blush on his cheeks, leaning close to kiss him softly. He pulled back after a second, those horrible thoughts going through his head again. "Especially considering you're the very definition of perfection. It'd be easy to love you." He stroked his cheek gently, smiling over at him.

Cole smiled sheepishly, cheeks feeling even hotter as he gazed at him. He met the kiss soft and sweet. "Do you..?" He mumbled, felt suddenly self conscious. He leaned in for another kiss, his hand still resting on Baz's chest, breaths slow despite his racing heart.
