"But I'm fine, Cole.." He said, looking down to watch his hand move across his chest. He looked back over at him, gently tracing his fingers over Cole's jaw. "It matters because I love seeing you smile. It's adorable and your eyes light up and you look so happy. But when you're sad, it makes me feel bad.. Like I'm not making you happy.." He said quietly, kissing his forehead gently. "I just like you best when you smile. You're too perfect to frown."

Cole scowled some. "You're one of the only people that does make me happy anymore, Baz.." He whispered softly. "I just...it's hard to be happy anymore." He bit his lip, rubbing at his throat again.

Baz wrapped his arms tightly around him, drawing him close. He rubbed his back gently, kissing the side of his head. "It's okay.. You don't have to smile if you don't want to.." He said quietly, not wanting to push him. He knew pushing him would only make him not talk to Sebastian. He leaned back, pulling Cole with him. He wrapped his arms tightly around him, hugging him close. "Just forget I said anything."

Cole only hugged him tightly. "I'm sorry.." He whispered brokenly. "I try to be happy..I do..." He drew in a breath, Baz's familiar and comforting smell. "I dunno what to do though.."

Baz gently ran his hand up and down his back, keeping him close. "It's okay. Maybe you just need your medicine adjusted is all. Or maybe they should put you on some if you're not. That might be all it is." He said quietly, hoping it didn't offend him. He didn't mean anything mean by it. He just wanted to help him. He gently tipped his chin back, kissing him softly. "What are you doing this weekend? I don't have any classes or school work. You can come sleep over if you want."

"I'm not on any," He murmured softly, eyebrows furrowing some. Baz and his brothers, mom even, were all saying the same thing though. He knew he'd been like this since the accident.. It was just getting more prominant. He rubbed at his wrist, the ghost of a healing cut, curled closer.
"Mm, nothing at all, I'd like to spend time with you, yeah.."

Baz hugged him close, gently running his hand through his hair. "They might help you, Cole.. Living like this is really unhealthy.." He said quietly, reaching over to lace their fingers together and pull their hands to rest on his stomach. "You can come if you want to. Maybe if you can get out early Friday we can go get paint and repaint my living room." He said, squeezing his hand gently.

"I know.." Cole murmured softly. "I know." Jake and Tyler still in therapy, Shawn on pain meds daily.. Cole was the only one who had avoided anything. And it was clearly hurting him. "That sounds like a plan." He did smile faintly then, nuzzled Sebastian's cheek gently. "I'll have my mama bring me in for medication..'kay..?" He bit his lip, ashamed.

Baz kissed his nose gently, squeezing his hand again. "It's nothing to be scared of, Cole." He said, looking over at him. But even he avoided medication. His doctor told him he needed to be medicated for his flashbacks, but he opted not to. And they had gotten gradually worse. He still refused to take them, was too afraid that it would turn him into a zombie. He looked over as Jack toddled over, pulling his jacket cape with him.

"Wanna snuggle." He said, and Baz picked him up, laying the boy on his chest. He played with his hair gently, looking down at him.

"I know it's not.." He whispered, looking over at the boy curiously. He reached over and fixed the makeshift cape absently, then returned to playing with the hem of Baz's shirt, still hugging him close with one arm.
