[OPEN] Ghosts of the past.

Skylar scoffed. "Yeah, as long as Zain doesn't try killing them both again," He breathed. He nodded faintly. "Yeah." Pulling his keys from his pocket he unlocked the doors. "Fucker drugged me," Zain growled. He was out of the car in an instant and back inside.
"Well shit..." There was a shout and then Zain was dragging a guy out, pummeling him and shouting angry curses.
"Zain let up!"

Yellow eyes glared over at him for a moment before the encant punched the guy in the face, then gut, bringing his knee up harshly.

Knox looked back over his shoulder, a groan passing his lips. He took off his booksack, sitting it down against the side of the building. "Come on. Let up." He said, grabbing Zain around the waist. He grabbed him by the wrists, holding them tightly. "Forget about it, okay? It's not important. Just go home and sleep it off, okay?" He said, gently tugging his wrists back away from the guy. He couldn't help rethinking what the boy had said before, wondered if the 'accident' the two were in wasn't a crazy suicide attempt on both of their parts. Then it suddenly hit him- if this guy was an encant, he was sleeping around; Monroe's definition of a whore, the very people he despised. So why was he falling for him?

Skylar made to tell him not to interfere, but didn't have the chance. "Fuck off," Zain spat, pulling a wrist free and striking Knox across the face. Eyes blazed angrily, onky half hazed by the drugs. His pride though, got the best of him. He wouldn't let somebody humiliate him, especially by making him remember things he didn't want to. He shoved Knox angrily and spun to grab the guy, cursed as Skylar smacked him upside the head. "You should be the fucking mature one here. Get in the God damn car."
He didn't bother with the guy already stumbling towards the bar again, offered a hand up for Knox, watching him indifferently. "Was going to tell you not to fuck with his fights." He shrugged.

Knox groaned, thinking he didn't have time for this. He needed to go get his son. "I'd rather not see Monroe moping around because his fuck toy is broken. It's bad enough the guy is the very definition of a whore. If you wanna deal with Monroe, go ahead. But the boy isn't right." He got to his feet, ignoring his offer of help. He picked up his booksack, wiping away the blood on his lip. "This town doesn't care who it kills. It kills and kills and kills. It drives wedges between people. It's like this place thrives on blood. You're just lucky he's not another casualty. Yet. Because if Monroe comes to his senses, he's as good as dead." He threw his booksack over his shoulder, pulling out his phone to text Monroe that he was on his way.

Skylar shrugged. "Never ssid I wanted my cousin to be my problem. It's his own fault if he dies. And if Monroe's as good a killer, why would you leave your son?" He wasn't angry, because it wasn't his problem. He had no reason to feel for anybody bht his sister anymore. And even then that was rare. "You're positive you don't want a ride?" He started tiwards his car, figuring if he did he'd follow. It would be nice to duo Zain off with his boy toy and not have to deal with him in a bad mood the rest of the night.

"Because Monroe kills whores, not innocent little two year old children who happen to have a love for chocolate milk and Spongebob." He said flatly, shrugging at his offer. "Yeah, I guess so. Before Monroe has a fit about keeping him so long. Jack probably stole all his cookies again." He said, making his way towards the car. He climbed in, pulling his iPad out of his bag. He turned it on, starting to add the finishing touches to the sketch he had been working on. He sent it to his phone, then texted it to Britt before he turned the iPad off again.

Skylar only nodded, waiti ngbfor him to get situated before starting towards Monroe's. He looked at Zain. "You want-"
"Fuck you," Zain growled, resting his head against the window and rubbing at his nose.
Skylar shrugged, driving in silence. He hummed faintly as he turned a corner and pulled up in front of the house.

Knox got out of the car at Monroe's, seeing the bleached blonde on one of the porch swings, Jack on the steps playing with some cars.

"Daddy!" Jack exclaimed, and Knox smiled, throwing his arms up. He picked up Jack, kissing the top of his head.

"Your boyfriend's in the back seat." Knox told Monroe, propping Jack on his hip. Monroe picked up the nearest object -his lighter in this case- and hurled it at Knoxville.

"Fuck you." He spat, scowling at him. "Take your kid and leave me the fuck alone."

"Okay, Monroe." Knox said, picking up his lighter and tossing it back. He hugged Jack close, starting down the driveway.

Skylar watched him go, and sighed. "Are you getting out or not?"
"I said fuck off," Zain muttered angrily.
Skylar groaned. "Fucking drama," He mumbled, barely flinching at the sting of a hand across his cheek. "Get the fuck out of my car!" He snapped, watching Zain climb out, glaring. He yelled at him as the paper coffee cup was thrown at the windsheild, and revved his engine, honking until Zain moved.

Monroe crossed his arms, watching Knox walk back down the sidewalk. He should have felt bad, but he didn't. Knox never took anything personally that Monroe said, knowing Monroe would just get over it. He glanced at Zain, then got up on his crutches, making his way over to his steps. He bent down carefully, picking up the toys on the steps. He tossed them into the bin on the porch, careful not to fall over or miss any of the toys. He started back towards his house, ready to go inside and finish picking up after Jack.
