"Yeah?" He breathed, resting his hand on his leg gently. He ran his fingers gently up and down his thigh, moving a little closer. He twisted the cap off his water, and took a drink of it. His stomach turned and he tried not to gag. He reached up, rubbing his nose again before resting it back on Zain's leg.

"I would have been happy to have just died with you." He mumbled. "I'm just so used to having to use both my hands to drive." He turned his left hand over, examining the scrape he had made. He wondered how he was supposed to sign himself out like this. He turned his head, kissing the top of Zain's.

"You don't exactly have a car to drive now..so.." He bit his lip guiltily. "I'm sorry about you leg...How bad are you hurt..?" He reached his left hand over, taking Monroe's own, uninterested in the water he had bought even though they told hi he needed to stay hydrated.

Monroe squeezed his hand gently. "Not too bad. Broke my leg. Had to have three teeth put back in. Broke my nose. Skull fracture. Whiplash. These huge gashes on my face. I think I'm a square or two short of a bingo. How about you?" He ran his thumb over the top of his hand, realizing just how strange it felt to have someone's hand in his own. "I think I just hit my head and crushed my leg. Could be worse."

Zain bit his lip. "I'm still sorry.." He shrugged. "Ah..fractured my wrist, crushed in my chest which puntured my lungs. They fixed it up but it's hard to breathe. Fucked up my back, lost feelin in my right side from under my arm to above my hip... Legs are.pretty banged up.. Coulda gone more as planned, been worse.." He never really wanted to die. Not until those memories or drugs and booze dragged the worst out of him. He let go of Monroe's hand to untwist the cap from the bottle, taking a sip. "And I got a concussion."

Monroe chewed on his lip, feeling guilty. The crash wouldn't have been so bad if he would have just kept off the gas and not hit the brake. That would have slung them both out the car. He rested his hand on his leg, looking blankly at the floor.

"I'm sorry this happened.. I don't care about the car. Even if I loved it. I'm worried about you. I don't care about anything else. I'm gonna get better. I'll get a new car.."

Zain chewed on his lip, shook his head. "You don't have to worry about me..." He whispered. "I've lived crazy this long, imma be okay." He smirked faintly over at him, then leaned over to kiss him softly. He worked his jaw as he drew back again, just watching him.

Monroe met the kiss gently, reaching up to cup his cheek gently. When he pulled away, he looked over at him, tracing his fingers slowly over his cheek. He chewed on his lip, finally dropping his hand. He knew this wouldn't work, no matter how bad he wanted it to. Zain was bound to lure someone else in. He was alluring, he was bound to find someone better than a crazy boy who's addicted to sex and drugs.

Zain smiled at him faintly, licked his lips. He bit his lio sheepishly, staring down at the floor for a moment. He shifted his weight, reaching to fix the brace again. "Ugh, fuckin' thing."

Monroe rubbed his leg gently, then unscrewed the cap of his bottle. He took a long drink of it, his stomach turning again. He knew it was only a matter of time before he got sick. And the chalky taste lingering in his mouth told him they pumped his stomach, probably as a precaution, but more likely so they could sedate him. He leaned down, scratching his leg. He wondered why they had a makeshift cast on it, and hoped he didn't mutilate his leg.

Zain stared down at his phone, using one finger to poke the buttons and text Skylar back so he woukdn't have to move his left hand from Monroe's lap. He stretched some in discomfort, huffed. "Ugh why's he gotta come see me?" He groaned. But he couldn't leave without transportation if they released him.
