[CLOSED] Life in the fast lane.

Rex smirked faintly, clearly amused by most of the conversation. He got out and grabbed Dakota, clipping the folded cane to his belt before taking up Britton's cuffs again. More often than not, he chose not to lead people, considering the literal term of 'blind sided', but he knew this guy had no intentions of running. Not if he wanted out any time soon.

Britt walked slowly into the hospital after Blake, thinking that he had been here far too many times lately. She filled out some papers, then handed them back to the nurse. She lead Rex and Britt to the back, helping Britt up on the bed. He laid back, fixing his hands so it didn't hurt so bad as the nurse worked down his pants. "Ugh. Is this considered rape?" He complained, looking up at the ceiling.

Britt chewed on his lip, fixing the back of his pants. "Never again.." He said, walking over to Rex.

Rex smirked just slightly. "I know your pain," He breathed, had been busying himself with other things so as not to listen, had been uncomfortable being in there, even if he couldn't see. He had never said he was straight. "Those tests suck." He took his cuffs, murmuring something to Dakota and following the dog out to the waiting room.

"It's not that bad when it's like.. just you and the four bathroom walls. But having someone you don't eve kno- ugh." He shook his head, following the dog out to the waiting room.

"Hey, baby." Blake said with a smile to the dog, leaning down to pet him gently. She kissed the top of his head, then stood back up. "You got off fast."

"I tried to. Trust me.." He mumbled, following her out to the car. He couldn't help thinking she would have made a great mother, and Rex a good father.

"The doctor said it shouldn't take long. You guys can sit in the car." She said, handing Rex the keys. She opened Britt's door for him, then walked back inside.

Rex sat down, blinking sightless eyes as the keys were given to him. "The hell am I supposed to do with these?" He complained, shaking his head. He hung on to them, though, shifting his weight some. "Well, then.." He mumbled.

"You didn't get the brightest bulb on the string." He said, leaning down in his seat. He still felt violated, and looked over at the car beside them. He chewed on his lip, a million things running through his head. "You know what I been wondering? How in the hell are Marc and Tony ever supposed to be together? They're always going to be more than two years apart. Do they need like.. proof they're immortal and that throws it out the window?" He asked, looking over at Rex.

It wasn't long before Blake came back and climbed in the car. "Doc said the chances of him having a kid are the same as winning the lottery seventeen times in a row." She said with a sigh. "I don't get it.."

Rex shrugged. "He's not over eighteen, they're illegal for another two years. They may not change physically, but it's not like Tony was dead for years. He's not like, a hundred thirty in a twenty year old body, he's still sixteen in a sixteen year old body."

He heard the door open and listened, sighed.. "Lucky shot?" He offered halfheartedly. "You're sure she actually got raped by this Nixon guy..?"

"Satan told me he would fix this years ago. He hasn't fixed it yet and he isn't going to. And yes, I'm sure. Tony saw him leaving her room, and when I got there she still had nothing on but the shirt she went to school in. She couldn't walk straight for days." He leaned back, chewing on his lip. "I don't know.. Are you sure she's pregnant?"

"She's pregnant." Blake said, pulling out of her parking spot. "All I know is we can't charge him for evidence that isn't there and I'm not getting a headache over your wacky junk."

Rex chuckled, and despite his questions towards him, he still planned on getting him out. He shifted his weight in his seat again. "Maybe we should send somebody out to sample her room," He offered, knew as soon as Blake was gone he could switch the information in the back room, then pull up the files for the others to see and get him off the hook.

"You and I both know that even if we find anything of his there, the jury can put it off as 'oh, maybe she was sleeping with him'. There's no point in going and making her more upset than she is. I live out of a box and I don't want people going through my stuff." Blake said, reaching over for her lip balm. "We already got proof he raped the boy he had kidnapped, and then tried to kill him. I say we don't press it unless her mom cares."

Britt just stared out the window, chewing on his lip. But two and two wasn't making four. He knew the baby wasn't his. He couldn't have kids, and Satan didn't keep promises. So how did Nixon get away with it?
