Connor closed his eyes, climbed carefully into his lap. "Y-you okay..? I don't wanna h-hurt you.." He murmured, kissed him softly and reached up to play with his hair.

Jayson's jaw trembled. "It's gonna be okay... You're gonna get better and everything's gonna be alright now..."

Deacon nodded, wrapping his arms around him. "A few bullet wounds isn't going to keep me from holding you." He said with a smile, meeting the kiss gently. He ran his fingers gently up his back, then back down, slipping his fingers into the back of his jeans.

"I know. Everything's always okay when you're around." He said with a smile, opening his eyes to look over at him. He reached up, slowly stroking his cheek. "I could've given up.. Especially when he wouldn't let me go, and he kept hurting me.. I really could've given up when he cut me open. But I didn't. I finally got the one person I've wanted so badly. I'm not gonna give up."

Connor shivered at the touch, smiled. He kissed him once more, then peered out the window to see exactly where they were, and if Marc was anywhere in sight.

Jayson smiled faintly. "Good, because I'm not giving up any time soon, Nevada.. None of us are. We went through hell to get you back."

Deacon smiled, kissing him softly. He looked out the window to see what Connor was looking at. They were close to home, parked by one of the old cabins. Marc was pacing just outside the road, talking to someone on the phone. Deacon thrusted his hips up, teasing Connor.

"I bet.. It felt like forever.." Nevada said sleepily, holding tightly to his hand. He could still hear Nixon talking, telling him how he'd wanted him for so long. But all Nevada could think about was how he'd wanted Jayson that entire time. "Come lay with me.. Please.."

Connor groaned softly at the playful thrust, smirked. "Tease," He complained. "We could always r-roll the windows down and make h-him listen." He kissed him softly, chuckling against his lips.

Jayson hesitated, then carefully climbed onto the bed, gritting his teeth in pain. He didn't dare say a word, knew he was far better off than Nevada. He laid down, caressing his cheek.

"We'd better not. He might think that's an invitation to come join in." He said with a smile, reaching up pull him closer. He kissed him deeply, running his hands up his sides. He ran his tongue over his bottom lip, pulling Connor's hips closer. "I want you so bad.. I swear our wedding night, we might not even make it to the bedroom." He teased, kissing his neck gently.

Nevada moved over as best he could, but he couldn't turn over. Even his legs touching slightly was killing him. He wrapped his arms carefully around him, turning his head to kiss him gently. "How many times can I say I love you before I annoy you?" He asked with a smile.

Connor laughed, though it caused him to cough faintly, more because of his throat than the newer lungs. "Mh..maybe th-that's our trademark," He teased.

Jayson smiled faintly, kissed him. "You would never annoy me with those words," He breathed.

"No kidding. If half the people who sat on our couch knew, they would be sitting on the floor." He said with a smile, patting his back gently. He kissed him softly, hugging him close. "I'm really excited. I finally get to have you as my husband."

Nevada smiled, meeting the kiss gently. "Then I love you." He said, slowly running his hand up and down Jayson's side. He was getting more and more sleepy, but fighting it for all he was worth. Talking to Jayson was far more important.

Connor smiled in amusement, cuddled close. "So a-am I...I never even dreamed of living long enough..but now I-I'm marrying the most amazing g-guy in the world."

Jayson smiled. "Love you too... now get some sleep, babe.. So you can get better. I'll be in here when you wake up, okay?"

"Sucks you can't marry yourself. Because the only perfect person here is you. Clearly." He said with a smile, holding him close. He ran his hands slowly over his back, kissing the top of his head. "I wouldn't trade having you for anything. Everyone else might think I got screwed, falling for a dying boy. But it just makes me realize how much more I love you."

"Promise?" He asked sleepily, his grip tightening on his shirt. He didn't want to wake up and Jayson be gone. "I don't wanna sleep alone.. I just want you here.."
