She looked over at his question, a smile on her lips. "You just know. I've been plenty of places. Food is like.. subconscious. You need it. So you find it." She said, pulling him across the road to a little diner. She pushed open the door, letting go of his arm to look up at the menu. But unlike a lot of places she had seen, everything here was in English.
"Hm.." She shifted her weight to her other foot, looking over at Khole. "Coffee and French toast sound good to me. Cause I'm just not an egg-y person." She wrinkled her nose, catching the gaze of the cashier. She smiled, walking slowly over to him.

Khole laughed, looking up and down the street as the crossed. "Or I can let you pull me everywhere," He followed in behind her, mostly focusing on the other people in the diner rather than the menu. Shoving his hands into his pocket, he looked to the cashier before back to the menu. "How could you not like eggs?" Khole questioned, his eyes watching the cashier as she approached him. A soft sigh escaped Khole's lips as he waited for Peaches to order. She was quiet a site to see, there was no denying that.
A smile pulled at his lips as he stepped up to the counter, giving one last look at the menu. "Can I have some coffee, scrambled eggs, and bacon?" His hand reached into his back pocket, pulling out the old leather wallet.

Peaches just shrugged her tattooed shoulders. "Because eggs are pretty much just chicken periods, when you get down to thinking about it." She said, looking up at him. She ordered her coffee and French toast, then stepped aside so Khole could order. She took the time to glance around the small little shop, and the faces looking her way. But she was still convinced that the looks they were getting were from Khole as well as her. Who wouldn't turn their head to look at him.
When he was finished ordering, she made her way to a little empty table. She sat down in one of the chairs, reaching over to grab a little straw. She tapped it on the table, her eyes wandering over to Khole. She smiled, poking his hand with the small straw. The action seemed somehow childish, like something you would do to your childhood crush. And she didn't want a crush of any kind. Especially not someone she was sure couldn't be loyal to anyone. "See? Finding stuff isn't that hard. You just have to look." She teased.

He chuckled, slipping his wallet back into his pocket and following after her to the table. "I don't think too much about food like that," Khole sat down across from her, his hands laced together as they sat on the table. His body hunched forward, putting pressure on his forearms. He kept checking the counter, unsure if he would have to get up to get the food. In his mind he pictured London as another planet, and it made him slightly uncomfortable.
"Well, I've been distracted." Khole shrugged, "See, there's this one beautiful sight that I can't seem to keep my eyes off of." He laughed, picking up a napkin and holding it by the corners. He used it like a bull fighter's cape as she poked the straw at him. "Ole'" He laughed, peeking up at Peaches.

Peaches smiled at his comment, giggling as he raised his napkin. "Your napkin is nothing against my straw!" She said, poking the napkin with the straw. She looked up as a waiter came to the table, and she smiled. She took her food from him, offering a thanks before he walked away. She took a sip out of her coffee, sitting it down with that signature red lipstick ring on the edge. She picked up her fork, cutting off a small piece of her toast. She put it into her mouth, looking over at Khole again.
She wondered for a moment if he was as good in bed as he thought he was, then pushed the thought away. 'The last thing I need is to go around all day thinking about being in bed with a guy I don't know.' She thought, chewing her food slowly.

Laughs rolled off his tounge and he flicked the napkin onto his lap as the food came. His hand reached out taking the plate from the waitor's hands. "Thanks," Khole placed the plate down and picked up his fork, poking a few eggs onto the tip. "You use a fork for toast?" He questioned, a toothy grin on his face before popping the fork into his mouth. He chewed on the eggs, picking up a strip of bacon and taking a bite.
"Even the food is nicer here," Khole murmed, gazing out the window as he swallowed. His hand picked up the coffee mug, sipping from it quietly and slowly as to not burn his tounge.

Peaches smiled at his comment, reaching up to brush a curl from her forehead. "You wouldn't want to eat anything on with lipstick on it, would you?" She teased, cutting off another piece. She also had no desire to get powdered sugar down the front of her dress. She chewed her toast slowly, reaching over to grab a little newsletter standing on the corner of their table. She read over it quietly, not really finding anything of interest before she sat it back. She took a couple more bites of her toast, then drank down half of her coffee.
"Want the rest of my toast? It's too sweet for me to finish it." She said, smiling over at him.

"I don't wear lipstick," Khole smiled, looking back down to his meal. He ate quietly, looking up at Peaches every once and awhile. The curls in her hair framer her face, her red lipstick jumped out at first glance, but they weren't as capturing as her eyes. It took him a moment before he realized he was staring, and his head dropped in reaction. His dark brown eyes traced over the few bits of yellow egg and one bacon strip that was remaining. "Huh?" Khole asked, looking up as she spoke.
"Oh, no. I'm fine," He smiled, picking up the bacon strip to take a bite. His other hand wrapped around the coffee mug as he leaned back in his chair. Khole finished off the bacon and brought the coffee to his lips to wash it down. "Hmm, do you get this much reaction at home?" His eyes looked up as new people came into the diner. He was use to getting some stares, but most tried to hide the fact they were starring. Now everytime he looked up a new set of eyes were watching him. He didn't mind, it flattered him.

Peaches smiled at his question, thinking it over a bit. "I guess. I mean.. People like to look at things that aren't what they normally see. Even your grandparents would give me looks, and they saw me at least every other day. But, you know, it's not often that I'm with someone alluring either. It's like we're forming a black hole over here." She teased, wrinkling her nose playfully. She brought a hand up to her shoulder, running her manicured fingers over the tattoo there before she reached for her coffee, finishing it off. She used her napkin to wipe away the red ring.
She stood and excused herself, then made her way to the restroom to wash her hands and check her makeup. She walked back out, walking up behind Khole. She draped her arms over his shoulders, leaning down a bit so that her lips almost touched his neck. "Tell me, handsome. Where to from here?"

"I'm alluring because of my spieces. Your beautiful because you're you." He sat the coffe mug down, looking toward the window. Across the street sat a building with a fancy French name. He still didn't understand why he was here. It was strange, looking for an answer but having no place to start. Khole figured he should just forget it. But it wasn't distracting away from the time he was having. He enjoyed every minute that passed. His head nodded as Peaches excused herself, his gaze never drifting from the other building as she walked away.
His mind chewed through his thoughts while she was away. His eyes were a blank stare like day dreaming. The small pressure from her arms and the warmth exhale as she spoke made his infamous toothy smile appear on his face. "I'd figure we'd walk til' we found something interesting." His hands reached up, tracing lightly over her arms to her fingers before pulling them from his shoulders. With one fluent movement, Khole rose from his chair and turned to face her. "After you, dear." He smirked, letting his hand flow from his body to motion toward the door.
