"Okay.." He mumbled, meeting the kiss with confused hesitance. "I guess..." He didn't want him to leave, but walking around in bloody jeans wouldn't do them much good.
Despite his height, age, looks, he was like a little kid, clueless and unaware. He hadn't known the guy meant trouble, was scared out of his mind and still would never understand exactly what had happened.

"I'll be right back." He said, rubbing his back gently before he walked out of the bathroom. He didn't want to leave Devon alone, but he couldn't take him with him. He started towards Spencers, walking slowly into the store.
"You're still here?" He asked Nevada, and Nevada looked up from where he had his head laid on the counter.
"No. I'm a figment of your imagination." He said, then closed his eyes again.
"Still a smart ass." Zander said with a shake of the head.
"Once a smart ass, always a smart ass." Nevada said without looking at him. He was obviously worn out from even the little work he had done today. Even the littlest bit of work seemed to be taking a horrible toll on his body.
"Yeah, well, take it easy, okay?" Zander said, throwing his booksack over his shoulder. He started back towards the bathroom, opening the door slowly. He handed Devon the bag, smiling a bit. "Just go change in a stall, okay?"

Devon shrank back against the wall as he left, waiting for him quietly, hiding from anyone that came in. He looked over at Zander's return, taking it with a nod before starting towards the stalls and carefully pulling off his jeans and boxers. Fishing in the bag, he pulled the clean clothes on, picking his own up and staring at the blood on them as he walked back towards Zander slowly.

"You really have a thing about blood, huh?" He asked, holding open the bag for him to put them in. He zipped it up and tossed it over his shoulder.
"Come on. Let's get you cleaned up, okay?" He said, taking his hand gently as he lead him out of the bathroom. "You can just stay at my place until you're feeling better unless you want to go back to your friend's house." He offered, never bothering to remember Dallas' name. She was unimportant as far as he was concerned.

Devon looked up, fascination broken as he was questioned. He shrugged, dropping the clothes in the bag and grabbing his shirt from under the sink. "Okay.." He murmured, absently reaching out to take Zander's hand tightly in his own. "I wanna stay with you.."
He looked around as they stepped into the main part of the mall, uneasy, but soon enough back to his slightly indifferent, curious self. With Zander, and learning how to act a little more, there was usually more expression, feeling now than before. And it often showed.

"Okay, then you can say with me. Whatever you wanna do." He said, squeezing his hand gently. He lead him slowly out to the car, not wanting him to be hurt. He knew how it felt all too well. And it made him sick to think Devon was feeling the same thing he had felt so many times in his life.
He opened the door for him, then lead him out to his car. He showed him to the car, where he opened the door for him there. He closed it once he was inside, and slid into the driver's seat. "Okay, I'm gonna bring you home, and get you in the shower. Then I gotta go and get Vegas and bring him home, since he can't drive. Okay?" He looked over at him.

Devon followed him quietly, a grimace starting on his face the further they walked. He sat down in the car, carefully pulling on his seat belt. At least one thing he had been taught properly at a young age, thanks to Chrystian.
"Okay.." He rubbed at his aching legs absently, as if to try and rid them of pain as he looked out the window, head tilting to the side a bit.

Zander drove carefully back to his apartment, one of his hands on Devon's knee the entire time. He pulled up in his parking spot and killed the engine. He walked around the car, helping Devon out and into the apartment. He started him an almost hot bath, hoping it would help with his pain. He left him to get in as he went to his bedroom and found him a baggy shirt, some boxers, and a pair of pajama pants.
He kissed him goodbye, then started out the door again. He brought Nevada home, then started back to his apartment. When he finally got there again, he grabbed the booksack out of the back seat and made his way inside. "Just me." He called as he closed the door behind him.

Devon undressed slowly and climbed in, kissing Zander goodbye. He sat in the hot water for awhile until he started feeling a little better, then washed off his body and rinsed off again.
Getting out, he toweled off and scrubbed his hair dry, was just pulling on the shirt when he heard Zander return. Picking up his piercings, he drained the bath and padded out of the room, setting them on the table so he wouldn't lose them.

"Feeling better? You aren't walking all catty-whompus." He said, walking over to the fridge to get a soda. He popped the tab on it, then walked to the couch, sitting down slowly. He sat down at one end, taking a long sip before setting it on the table.
"Come here. Let me play with your hair." He smiled, hoping it would get him to lay down. He raised his arms above his head in a stretch, his shirt riding up to show the piercings in his hips just above his boxers.
