"Yeah?" Trayce looked at the phone. "Awhh, he's adorable," He breathed. "I've been on my own since I was nine," He admitted. "Talk about being forced to grow up fast."
Colton shrugged. "Don't see why people have such a problem with that stuff," He murmured, looked up at the mention of food. "That'd be nice.." He hadn't eaten today, only got good food when they actually had a little spending cash. Otherwise they were stuck stealing what they could get when they could get it.

Knox smiled at the compliment, tucking his phone back into his pocket. "Yeah. Really fast. No one's offered you a place to stay? People like me and Kellin tend to have like, extra rooms. Cause we're too stupid to actually live in one house and not have to pay two different house notes." He leaned back, taking his new drink from Marcus.
Kellin got up and walked to the fridge, pulling out the burritos he had made the other day. He thought Jack would have eaten more, but he hadn't. He heated up the oven, putting them on a sheet tray. He waited until it beeped before he put them in and set a timer, then started pacing back and forth waiting for them to be done.

Trayce shrugged. "We've lived together fourteen years on the streets, guess it's hard to break old habits, don't know enough people to be offered, anyway." He turned his glass in his hands slowly.
Colton murmured a thanks as he watched him go. He shifted his weight some, getting comfortable, and yawned lazily.

"You can stay with me tonight if you want to. I might have some old clothes in my closet that I'm too big for." He said with a smile, taking a long drink out of his soda. He wondered what Kellin was doing, expecting the boy to talk back in at any moment and say that Kellin was a freak.
When the timer went off, he pulled them out carefully, putting them on a plate for the boy. He walked over and handed them to him before he made his way back to the fridge to get some celery and the rest of his ranch dip. He made his way to his chair, sitting down with his food.

Trayce shrugged. "You don't have to..." He insisted, but clearly wasn't going to turn down the offer. One of them would have to grab the stuff from behind the dumpster tomorrow, and he wouldn't leave Colton alone on the streets. "As long as Colton isn't sleeping outside tonight, then sure," He huffed.
"Thank you," Colton breaths, taking the food and kicking off his shoes, drawing his legs up under him as he bit into the food, trying to keep from looking like a pig despite his hunger.

"Unless it's a full moon out, I think Kellin's gonna let him stay." He said with a smile, taking another sip of his soda. "We just have to go get my son from his lunatic babysitter then we can head back to my place." He said, rubbing his nose.
"You're welcome." He said quietly, taking a bite of his celery. He normally didn't eat much, ended up with a fridge full of food he had to throw out. But he usually only really shopped when Jack was coming, so he guessed it was okay. "Do you want hot sauce?" He asked, drawing his leg up in the chair.

Trayce nodded, thankful that he had had his share of zombie hunting last night. The sooner they were back inside the better though, one downfall of living on the streets. He had learned to fed on animals to keep his hunger for human flesh down. The idea of cannibalism honestly sickened him.
"Nah, thanks.." Colton huffed, wished he had a way to get ahold of Trayce. But he didn't, they had tried setting up phones but just didn't have the money. He finished his food rather quickly, getting up and putting his plate in the sink.

Knox looked at the time and paid for their drinks, slipping off of his chair. He had to go get Jack from Monroe's, hoped the boy was in a better mood than he was when he had dropped the boy off. He knew he would never hurt the child, but it still scared him.
Kellin finished off the rest of his celery, getting up to put the empty container his ranch was in in the trash. "I'm gonna go take a shower.." He said, pulling the curtains back to look up at the sky. He shuddered, closing them again before he walked back into the living room, wrapping his arms around himself. "You can take one if you want.."

Trayce followed him out quietly, looking down. The night air was tempting but he managed to keep his control, looking around.
"Okay, thanks," Colton murmured, watching him curiously. "So, I never did catch you name," He murmured curiously.

Knox held open the car door for him, closing it once he was situated. He climbed into the driver's side, and made his way to Monroe's house. He turned the usually loud radio down, driving carefully to Monroe's house. He got his son from a grumpy Monroe, and after buckling him in, he got back into his car and started towards his house. "Hi daddy!" Jack said cheerily, peering around the seat to look at the guy.
"Hey, Jack." He said with a smile.
"There might be toys in the bathtub. Just put them in the sink." Kellin mumbled, biting his lip at his next statement. "Uhm.. Kellin.." He said quietly, drawing his lips together.
