Nash bit his lip, hugging himself tighter as she came closer. But he could only hope that she would keep her promise, that he could get back to Sean, sooner preferable to later. He didn't know what Sean was capable of, and he certainly didn't know how his dad was going to live. Aubri couldn't take care of herself, let alone his dad. She couldn't even keep her kid.
"What's Nash doing here? He was supposed to die next month." Deacon said, holding onto someone by the wrist. It wasn't usually his job, but if he felt Devan around, he at least brought them half way. He didn't mind limbo, it was hell that bothered him.

"Relax, I'm not going to drag you off anywhere," She murmured as he shrank back. She glanced up in surprise at Deacon's voice, bit her lip. "Power outage at the hospital.." She knew she would be punished for helping the dead have another chance at life, ruffled Nash's hair gently. "It's gonna be okay," She whispered under her breath, eyed the guy Deacon had. "You want me to take him? Just...stay with Nash for a minute, okay..?"

"But.. That's a mistake. They have to send him back.. They can't keep him in limbo until next month then sentence him. Fuck." Deacon pushed the guy forward, then sat down next to Nash.
"Well, I guess limbo beats hell. Or heaven. Apparently they have a long line of people waiting for wings." Deacon said, stretching out his legs. He had his own problems to deal with, but he wasn't going to let a mistake take Nash away from whatever it was Nash had.
"I just wanna go home.. My dad can't take care of himself, and Sean.." Nash started to cry again, and Deacon wrapped an arm hesitantly around him.
"It's okay. We're gonna sort it out.."

Devan took the guy, wincing as his life flashed through her head. Knowing the sins and lives of every person wasn't the nicest. Especially for guy like this who had killed in his grievance, but was paying the price in Hell. She opened the entramce, heat billowing through her hair. Being a daughter of Heavan and Hell, it wasn't as bad as it could be. She pushed him down the stairs, the entrance vanishing, led him where he needed to be before she appeared back near the other two minutes later, coughed and ran a hand through her hair before sitting down. "Technically they should have sent you back, they owe you a favor," She muttered.

Deacon nodded at what she said, gently rubbing Nash's back. It wasn't often he was able to touch people, but no one had the spark that he felt when he touched Connor.
"The only people I've talked to is you two and Death."
"Death is an ass." Deacon muttered, leaning back on his hands.
"No kidding.."
"So technically.. this is something that no one besides Zeus could have stopped. Guess we're going up to heaven to fix this." Deacon said, pulling himself to his feet. "Up and at 'em, Nashville." He said, pulling on the boy's hands. He knew this was going to be a long, long process.

Devan huffed. "Zeus is to busy to even speak with his own kids right now." She stood, dusting off her jeans absently. "We'r gonna get you back where you belong, Nash."

"Yeah, well.. I know a few people who are about as good of parents as these Gods are." Deacon muttered. He sighed, and started through the darkness down a path that only he and Devan knew of. To everyone else, it was all just blackness. It wasn't long before they were up at the pearly gates, face to face with Saint Peter.
"Zeus made a mistake, and you guys gotta fix it. Nash isn't supposed to be here." Deacon said, leaning obnoxiously on his podium.
"We aren't responsible for what Zeus does. He was going to die next month anyways." He retorted.
"I don't care. Today isn't next month. And if you don't fix him, then I'll do it myself. You're already fucking me over with Connor. You guys need to lean only one person can ride my ass at once." Deacon spat back.
"You aren't going to do anything."
"Watch me, motherfucker." Deacon said, grabbing Nash and pushing past him.

Devan just nodded, following. She eyed Saint Peter warily, him and Hades technically her father's in a way, her creators, the light and dark within her. She didn't like disobeying them. But she followed Deacon anyway, didn't care if she would be punished.

Nash followed behind him, Deacon obviously knowing where he was going because it wasn't long before they were at the sorting area. Some spirits were waiting for wings, others were being comforted, some were getting their wings stitched on, and most were being told their tasks. Heaven wasn't built in a day, obviously.
"What are you guys doing here?" An angel a lot like Charlie asked.
"We need to figure out where he's going." Deacon said. "They want to send him to limbo until his death date."
"So he isn't dead?"
"No, he's dead. But he's not supposed to be."
"Well, we're too busy to do anything about that. But if you wanna wait around, we can get someone who knows.." She mumbled, and Deacon groaned.

Devan sighed, rubbing at her face in agitation. She looked up as a male angel waved at them, recognizing his features, the odd ghost of wings on his back catching her curiosity. He smiled at Deacon, eyeing Nash curiously, and she realized exactly why he looked so familiar. Adam, Connor's brother. The facial features were so similar, but his hair was blonde. He was young, sixteen. It all flooded back, the night she had brought him. Nearly two years ago. But he worked up here as important staff, was not a gaurdian.
