Chandler groaned, rolling over and burying his face in his arms. His head was throbbing. He pulled his legs up under him, getting slowly to his feet. He walked over to Terance, sitting down beside him.

"That looks terrible." He remarked, but then again, nothing besides raw meat looked appealing to Chandler. He looked over at the TV, stretching his legs out in front of him. He had blood up one of his arms, and wrinkled his nose.

"I guess I scratched myself.." He said, getting up and walking to the bathroom.

"It's a burger," He muttered, was starving for something else though. To make a point he pulled the patty out, biting into the near raw meat. He glared at Chandler at his comment, unable to help himself. He had just.. Walked out. And then made an idiot move. He watched him go, shaking his head in agitation and reaching for his water, lungs bothering him again.

Chandler washed off his arm, but couldn't find a scratch. He dried off his arm, then walked back to his brother on the couch. He sat down next to him, drumming his fingers on the jeans he was wearing. He rubbed absently at an eye, his stomach growling loudly. He groaned, covering his eyes with his hands before he rubbed his face.

"I'm starving, and it's not for food.." He mumbled, letting his head drop to the back of the couch.

Terance tossed the letter aside. "Yeah well, have fun. I prefer holding out as long as I can.." Even if it wasn't much longer. He eyed Chandler like he was an alien, then looked down at his phone, texting Devan back. Ryan was finally up and feeling better. She had almost crashed, though. He didn't know why she drove an open vehicle. Or drove at all, what with the spirits often getting the best of her. He wasn't in the mood to deal with it, though.

"You're fucking grumpy today, eh?" He asked, looking down to realize he had on no shoes. He guessed it didn't matter. As long as he could get to someone's hip. 'You're so strange. Why do you bite hips?' He could remember someone asking him once. He ran his hands through his dark hair, looking over at his brother.

"What's wrong, T-rex?" He asked, reaching over to squeeze his side playfully.

Terance squirmed in faint discomfort. "Nothing, Chan.." He mumbled, slipping the letter under a book on the side table as.he got up. The food was making him feel sick and he wasn't hungry anymore. He threw it away, coughing harshly as he peered into the near empty fridge, snatching another water bottle since he had already downed the first one.

"Okay, we'll.. I'm going to go out. I'll be back in a little bit." He said, walking towards the door. He couldn't shake the feeling he had done something wrong, that his brother was mad at him for something he had done.

"I love you..." He mumbled, looking back at him with his hand on the door handle. He rubbed his other hand up and down his leg, the three words seeming like they were so unused, so rare between the two. He looked his brother over before he stepped outside, his head down.

Terance's jaw trembled and he drew in a breath, keeping his face hidden in the fridge. "Love you, too Chan.." He murmured. He waited for the door to close and headed back towards the living room, watching the news. Soon enough he was asleep on the couch, shirt tossed aside because he hadn't been able to get comfortable. He twitched, grimacing and gritting his teeth faintly, hands clenching before he clawed at his chest with the suffocating memory of being on fire.

Chandler got back sometime late in the night, opening the door quietly. He had expected his brother to be asleep, but not so violently. "Terance.." He mumbled, shaking him gently. "Terance, wake up. It's okay.." He shook him a little harder, more worried than anything as he clawed on his chest. He sat on his brother's hips, pinning his hands down to the arm of the sofa. "Wake up, damnit!" He nearly screamed.

Terance stirred faintly at first, easing up a bit. He jerked awake as Chandler shouted, coughing huskily in surprise. Welts from his nails littered his torso on top of already scarred skin. He swallowed, closing his eyes as he caught his breath. "I'm sorry..." He rasped. It wouldn't be a first he had waken to such self damage. Luckily he had yet to actually break the skin, he didn't need anymore scars.
