He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her gently. "Don't cry, baby.." He whispered, stroking her hair. He ran his hand across her cheek, then across her chin, tilting her head back. He kissed her gently, keeping her close even if he was scared. He kissed her for a moment longer until he coughed into his arm.
"Everything's going to be okay. I'm not ready to give up the ghost yet." He said, stroking her cheek gently. "I'm gonna hang on as long as you need me, okay?"

Zoey shivered, curling up against him, kissing him until he coughed again. She kissed him on the cheek, ran a shaking hand over it and through his short hair.
"Imma always need you." Her voice was rough with grief. "I'm tired of having to try and fall in love over and over again...I'm...I'm done after this..if I lose you.."

"Well, dad always said I was stubborn, and it hasn't killed me yet so.." He felt her hand in his hair and closed his eyes. He ran his hand up and down her side, running his tongue over his lip ring.
"I don't think I want a kid." He said quietly, rubbing her side. "That's too long a wait, and Satan's just gonna fuck me over like he always does. I think just you will do fine." He said with a smile, kissing her softly.
"You're gonna be my princess?" He asked, running his hand down her back. "Let me love you forever?"

"Of course.." She murmured. "Forever and always.." She swallowed, clearing her throat some as she rested her head on his shoulder and countinued playing with his hair, finding comfort in the action, afraid that if she let go, he would vanish forever and she would again be alone, fighting this battle by herself once more.
She shifted her weight a bit. "I wonder if I could ever have a kid after what he-.." She shivered, not wanting to think about the rape right now, and just hugged Britton closer.

Britt held her close, running his fingers through her hair. He wouldnt push the issue, wouldn't make her relive the hurt if she didn't want to. He kissed her forehead, turning on his side so he could hug her close.
"Let's just forget about kids, okay? You're too young to be thinking about that anyways, princess." He said, rubbing her back gently. "Mm. You know what sounds good? Chili cheese fries." He said with a smile.

"Okay." she mumbled, unable to help her smile. "You're sitting here makin' me cry and all you can think about is food?" She was trying to pull off the act of being strong, felt like she was failing miserably.
"We could go get something to eat..unless you wanna lay here, I can go get food.." She didn't want to move though, afraid of leaving his side.
